He hasn't answered my texts, or my phone calls. Ian won't get in the middle of this and neither will Ethan. Mandy was too caught up in her infatuation with my brother so I didn't bother.

There was only one person that was there. Timing is everything.

"Good morning beautiful." I roll my eyes at his cheeky smile. He hands me a cup of coffee and I gladly take it. I barely slept the night before and it was much needed.

"Morning." I take a sip of the coffee and feel him piercing through my skin.

"It's the way you like it, Some coffee with your sugar." He chuckles and I smile. I look over to him and felt like I was drowning in his dimples. My eyes trail to his v neck that showed his collar bone tattoo that read 'Arielle' in cursive. Then my eyes land on his hand tattoo. A small butterfly right beside his thumb. The same one as mine.

I blink and try to shake him out my head, "Well are you going to drive? I don't want to be late for first period." I face forward and he lets out a chuckle and puts the car in drive.

"Shouldn't you be going to school with your boyfriend? What was his name again?" He asks and I look out the window.

"We aren't really on the same page at this moment." I sigh and I swear I can feel him smile. "And I'm not telling you his name."

"You can do much better than a boy from the south side. In Chicago may I add." He snickers and I whip my head around.

"Oh and what's better, a rich boy who treats people like shit?" I bark and he licks his lips and glances at me.

"Seems to me that he is a south side poor boy that also treats people like shit." I remain silent and feel him occasionally glance over at me. "C'mon you don't love him right?"

"I do. I do love him." My heart begins to hurt at the fact that we had a bad fight. I don't know whether to trust him or not.

We make it to the front of the high school and I start to unbuckle myself, ready to jump out the car.

"I'll see you later." I open the car door and get up. Silas grabs onto my arm.

"Listen I'm sorry. I have changed, I just want you to be happy and it doesn't seem like this guy is doing a great job."

"This is our first falling out, unlike the thousand we had." I grab my arm out and shut the door. I walk across the street. A hoard of teenagers leave a bus and I get caught in the crowd. I scurry out and make it in the school avoiding eye contact with everyone around me. I bump into a mop of blonde hair and I immediately cringe.

"You look upset, how's you and Lip?" I deeply exhale and she pretends a lightbulb lights up in her head. "Oh wait, I know how it is because Lip happened to see me last night. I'm guessing after your fight he came running back to me."
