Is this love?

PARTY

I was walking to lunch when I heard a shout "Hey, Macy! Wait up" That would be Katie I thought, so ignored the distant yelling and carried on walking. When she reached me, her face was cherry red and I was trying to contain my laughter but failed.Katie had long brown wavy hair that would glow in the sunlight. She had dark blue eyes with a tint of green. Her lips were plump and her smile is contagious. We met in kindergarten were she and I became best friends ever since. "Macy!" someone hollered at me "where you listening to anything?" Katie shouted "sorry" I mumbled. " I said that there would be a party tonight and you are going with me" she said. I never really liked party so I was about to say no but then she said something that definitely caught my ear. "It's Mark's party" she whispered slowly. "Yes I'm going" I said a little to fast which caused her to grin and giggled at me. Mark was our crush since middle school but never seem to notice us. He had dark brown hair that was nearly black and light blue eyes that somewhat changes colour. 

"Hey dad, hey mum I'm home!" I shouted. my mum was reading a book then she looked up at me and smiled. "Hey honey, there are cookies on the table and you can grab something from the fridge" mum replied. I walked over to the counter to see my younger brother Rick playing on his i-pad. My brother Rick was 13 years old, he had brown eyes and brown fluffy hair. Sometimes i wonder if he ever combed it, but it makes his hair look like Finn Wolfhard's hair so I didn't mind (Stranger things). Rick is pretty tall for a 13 year old, he's just a little taller than me! I'm 16 and he's 13! Rick is about 166cm tall and I'm only 163cm. "Hey" Rick mumbled, but I didn't bother to talk back cause he was so committed to his game. I walked back outside and told mum that I'm going to a party and her reaction was priceless since I never really liked parties. She told me that she had a black dress somewhere and I could wear it so I did.

AT THE PARTY

" Hey!" I turned around to Katie shouting my name. "Hey" I jabbed back

"Why so moody?" Katie asked

"No I'm not"

"I can hear it in your voice"

"ok, ok! I will tell you!" I yelled, "It's just my mum was so happy that I'm here..." I paused waiting for her to laugh at me, and she did. " Well, at least you came" she laughs, " look there he is" I looked at where she was looking and noticed Mark standing, chatting with his friends. Then I saw some girls walking towards him and I didn't want to see so, I went to get a drink.When I reached where the drink was, I felt somebody grab my butt so I looked. Standing there, looking like an idiot, was Tom one of Mark's friend. Then he started to round me up at a corner so I started to kick him, which made it worse. I knew there was no way out by myself so I called for help. I was hoping Katie was going to come but my idiot of a friend was busy hanging and flirting with boys. The next thing I knew was Mark came and pushed Tom away, then he came to me and helped me up. "Hey, so what's your name?" he asked. My mind was literally racing, "OMG OMG OMG!" I thought, " the most popular guy in school is talking to me!". But me being me I said " We have been in school together since kindergarten," I said trying to sound annoyed, but it didn't make any difference and he just stood there with a smile and laughed. "What's funny?" I asked innocently. " You" he said with a contagious smile. I stood there not knowing what happened then he grabbed my hand and took me to his friends. The whole time at the party, I was hanging out with Mark then suddenly he asked " so... would I see you at school then?" I was thrilled and answered "maybe, maybe not" I was mentally killing myself. I said bye to him and went home.

AT HOME

"So how was the party?" Rick smiled at me

"What" I asked 

"did you get laid?"

"OMG RICK! I'm never talking to you ever again" I shouted, then ran up to my room and slammed the door. I took a nice long bath and changed into a tank top and shorts then jumped onto my bed, opened the laptop then I went to netflix to watch strangerthings "yasssss!!! I love it!" I thought. Later that night I woke up and saw that I didn't close my laptop yet and I had fallen asleep. I closed my laptop and looked at my phone.

Then I screamed mentally.
