I woke up in the hospital chair and looked at a sleeping Ally who was asleep on my lap. I wrapped my arms around her and looked up and saw Lark, standing on her own.
A few days ago, she couldn't stand up by herself as she was that weak, but now she can. I smiled and she smiled back at me.
"You're doing awesome, hun!" I encouraged her and she walked by herself.
30 minutes go by and Ally hadn't woke up. A doctor walked in. "Hello, Miss, you are allowed to go home now." He said. Lark nodded and I lifted Ally up.
Lark carried herself out to my car and I carried Ally. I put Ally in the back and looked at Lark. "In a few months, you'll have a beautiful baby." I said. "2." She corrected. "2?! Twins?!" I looked at her. "Well, I'll help. I promise and you're staying at my house." I said.
She just nodded. I could tell she didn't believe me.
But I was determined to help.
