"Hunter! Give me the damn phone!" My best friend, Forrest, exclaimed.
"If you want it, you're gonna have to come get it!" I teased. He got up and began chasing me around the kitchen. He tried to grab hold of the phone in my hand, but he tripped, dragging me down with in the process. We lay on the floor, giggling until he reaches over me and snatches his phone.
"You can be very annoying sometimes, Hunter." He jokes.
"But you love me anyway." I say, smiling. He rises and offers me a hand to help me up. I take it and we walk into his living room. We sit down on the couch and continue watching The Vampire Diaries.
"Did you see that new guy today? I think his name is Hayden." Forrest asks.
"Nope, I stayed home from school today, remember?" I say.
"Oh, right. You're sick. Ew, get away from me, sicko." He says as he moves towards the other side of the couch, wearing a smile on his face.
"So is he cute?" I ask.
"No, he's not cute. He. Is. A. Babe." Forrest says, smiling. " I am secretly hoping he's gay. But if not, you can have him."
"Agreed." I answer.
"I'll look for his facebook." Forrest says. He picks up his phone and after a minutes he says, "Well, I found it, and he's not gay."
"How do you know?" I ask, confused. I lean closer to him to see what it says on his phone.
"He's dating Kathleen." Forrest says with a depressed sigh.
"What?! It's his first day and he's already dating the head cheerleader?" I say, amazed. Forrest nods. "Damn." I say, slightly impressed. I take his phone, turn it off, and put it on the table. "We don't need him," I tell Forrest. "There are plently more men out there for us." Forrest nods and rests his head on my shoulderr. He lets out a sigh and says,
"Let's just watch some vampires. It'll help me feel better." I laugh and avert my attention to the TV.
