Selena

The beginning

"Selena?, Selena? You really need to get up sweetheart.'' My mom called. ''It's your graduation day''. ''I am coming!'' I said. Yeah right, it's my graduation day. I don't think that's a good name for it. I already have graduated a few weeks ago. This is the day that I get my job. But not just my job, it's the job I will have whole my life and I can't chose the job myself. I need to make a test, then I get a job that's ''fit'' for me. But if the job that ''fits'' you is already full, they give you a random job. Fortunately that job is one of your level. The jobs are divided in seven levels of difficulty. The first level are jobs like garbage man or cleaners. The second level are jobs like seamstress and nanny. Then you have level 3 and 4. That are jobs like teaching on a primary school or nursing. Level 5 are jobs like teaching on high school and architects. Then there is level 6. That are the professors and the best doctors. The smartest ones are level 7. They can also be professors and doctors, but some of them become leaders. But the people that become leaders come out rich families. I am a level 7. But I don't have a rich family. My mother is a level 2 and my dad a level 4. My sister is as smart as me, maybe even smarter, but she is just six years old, so we don't know her level yet. If I am lucky I will get a job as teacher on a university of mathematics. That's my dream job. But teaching science is also nice.

I am saying goodbye for a while to my parents and my sister. After the test I will go a few years to the university to learn how to do my job. Luckily ones in a month my parents and my sister can pass by. ''We are really proud of you girl'' My father said. ''You don't have to worry, you will get a nice job, I promise.'' My mother said. My sister stepped I my arms. ''I am gonna miss you Selena''. ''I will miss you too Ashlyn. I will see you all soon'' I said when I walked out of the house. When I will be back here, I will be an adult with a nice job.
