Chapter 1

     I was sitting in the back of science class drawing little cartoons of One Direction when my principal came over the loud speaker. "We have a wonderful surprise in store for ya'll tomorrow" she said with her strong southern accent. "Make sure ya'll come to school to find out what this special surprise is." Right after the announcement my teacher started teaching again. That meant I could continue to draw. I finished my drawing of Louis and giggled. The teacher stopped talking and everyone started staring at me. "Is there something you would like to share with the class?" she snapped at me. I put my head down  in humiliation. "n-no ma'am"  I looked back up to see her shaking her head and rolling her eyes at me. I decided to pay attention and opened my science book to page 143. I just started staring at my book and lost my train of thought. I snapped out of it when my teacher started saying "Sammi, Sammi!" "whoa, huh?" I heard the laughter fill the air. "What is the answer to the question?" my teacher yelled. "uhhh....ummmm..." I felt myself blush. "George Washington?" I gulped. "No" she announced calling another persons name to answer the question. *RRRRRRRIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNGGGGGGG* The bell sounded. "Oh thank God schools over." I said to myself getting up from my chair.

      I walked to my locker and grabbed my math binder. "Hey Sammi, nice job in science today" I heard from down the hallway. I turn around to see Amanda, the biggest witch in school. I just stand there staring at her. "Well are you going to say something?" she asked in a rude voice. I grinned evily and said "No I just like standing here blocking your way!" She didn't like that I said that to her. "Fine then" she pouted, turning around and walking away. "well that wasn't very nice!!!"  My best friend Kali yelled at her. "Thanks Kali" I said hugging her. "Anything for my fellow Directioner!!!" She smiled. We walked off school campus and we drove home. When we walked into the house we saw a stretcher in the kitchen. "Whats going on?" I yelled to the nearest first aid man. "Your parents have died." Kali and I just looked at each other. "WHAT NO!!!" I yelled running to my parents. "nooo mommy! come back!!!!" I yelled in my moms face. "Dad?" I slapped my dad hoping he would react. "NOOOOO!!! WHAT HAPPENED?" I yelled. "The teenagers." The first aid man explained. "Oh my Gosh. Do you know who 'the teenagers' are?" I asked. bawling into Kali's shoulder. "Sammi, I've got your back. You can stay at my house." You offered. I nodded. "Sir, still no response from them." A police officer said. He sighed and turned to me and kali. "Girls, you have to leave." I nodded as Kali and I walked out the front door.
