Chapter 4: soccer

A week later~

"Okay girls we are going to go threw some basic drills. We also lost out team caption last year so after each player has gotten on the team we will vote for a new captain. "

I was dressed in my usual soccer uniform .

Black knee high socks Adidas shorts with two stripes on the sides and Adidas soccer cleats my shirt was white . Our school team uniform is dark blue and white and the uniforms look hot as hell and I couldn't wait to own one for my self .

Just as coach Mac said we stared with basic warm ups running a total of 6 laps around the field was easy my last school made us run 10 laps in 15 minutes. After running we stretched and played a small game .

Team A consist of a total of ten players.

Team B also had a total of 10 players including me.

Coach timed us . My team huddled up discussing who was going to be where

" Dana you play forward with Nina I want Chloe and Jessie on defense . Ill get middle and Victoria I need you in goal ."

I was surprised she new my name she was quite pretty as well . I saw her around before she in my biology class so I know for sure she's a junior .

" okay the rest of you four " she pointed to the left overs " sit out first half and second you'll come in " they nodded there heads .

It wasn't that they weren't any good because everyone on team B had there advantages .it was that obviously not all ten player are allowed on the field and we are going to need some one to go in for us when we are tired .

"Okay girls hands in "

" wait brooke "

So that's her name .. Pretty

"Hmmm " Brooke answered with a wide smile . She was friendly .

" what are we saying "

" sharks duhhh hints the team name " Brooke laughed and soon everyone joined in . And the girl that asked the question laughed the loudest . I like this team .

" sharks on 3"

" 1 ... 2 ... 3"

" SHARKS " each girl yelled and soon we were on the field .

I was forward playing right hand .

I was definitely wrong about Brooke friendly out side on the inside she will do anything to win she pushed girls down and kicked a few knees. I assisted a few goals , made 4while Brooke made the others 2 . Team B won .

Team A lost and had to run another 6 laps .

Once in side the schools locker room I got a few pats on the backs and good games .

Once I was finished redoing me pony tail that reached the middle of my back I slipped on Adidas skinny soccer pants with two strips on the side with a white v neck and slides on my feet .

" hey Dana " I felt a pull on my shoulder and soon turned around to find Brooke's hand on my back .

" you were great out there " she gushed keeping a bright smile on her face .

" thanks we make a great pair " I added trying to point out she made 2 goals .

" yea ill put in a good name for you to coach Mac though I don't think I have to she already gushing to coach . Smith how great you are "
