Later that same evening Dumbledore sat in his office. Opposite him sat James and Lily. In James lap sat precious Vicky Vic Vic and on the floor by lilys feet was a discarded harry, sleeping away his magical exhaustion. "I cant believe that snivelling rat" ranted James. "He just gave us away! After all those years of friendship! What is Vicky had been hurt?. Why if I got my hands on him...". Thankfully James' long and pointless rant was intrepurupted by his wife; 'is he really gone headmaster? Is Vicky really the prophesy child?' as she said this Lily snatched her beloved baby into her arms. "oh I would certainly say he will be back. And I'm sorry to say Lily that Vicky may be the ptophesy child. Would you like a lemon drop?' The headmaster offered. "May what do you mean may?" James demanded. "Well my boy I do believe you are forgetting dear Harry are you not? He was there too you know." Dumbledore said in his grandfatherly know it all way. looking down like she just remembered he was there Lily looked aghast! " harry? It couldn't possibly be Harry!! He's never shown an once of magic. I swear hes a squib. I'm sure. No I'm certain if any of my children isthe child of the prophecy then its Vicky." Lily spoke passionately yet the twinkle slowly went out of Dumbledores eye. " A squib you say? That would certainly prove he couldn't be the prophecy child. Pass the little one here and Il test him. If he is a squib then we can be absolutely certain we have a girl who lived and not a boy who lived." James bent down and none two gently picked up a sleeping Harry, waking him in the process, and shoved him into Dumbledores arms. Little Harry didn't cry but looked at the man curiously with his intelligent little eyes. Little Harry didnt like the bearded man he felt something prod at his already depletd magic stores and threw up his sheilds instantly! His magic was his and no one should touch it but him! Dumbledore frowned. "You were right" he said. "No magic whatsoever. Harry is a squib" Dumbledore declared putting the baby back on the floor and turning his attention back on to the child who he was now certain was the chosen one.

Six Years Later

Dear Journal

I have always known James and Lily Potter disliked me. However when the dislike turned into hate I couldn't say. I remember Dumbles telling Mum and Dad Sicky Vicky was the one who defeated snake nose. Since I have a photographic memory I know that's false. It wouldn't make a difference though  even before they loves Vicky and not me. They  hate the fact I'm smart never they aloud to read when there home. Good thing they are not home often t guess or I would never be able to read. They are always out, buying Vicky a new toy, taking Vicky to this party or that event. I like it when there gone though. I can look after myself, I can cook and clean, wash my clothes. I can work on my algeryhthums and learn  new languages in peace then. They hate me learning and I'm always locked in my room otherwise known as the basement when they are here. You see ..

"Boy get up here this instant" Lilys scream intreputed Harrys writing. Sighing Harry shut the scrappy notebook he had managed to scounge from the liabrary and headed up the stairs and out of his basement. He almost liked the dark and dingy basement in a way at least he could be in peace and think. Like what would happen if someone added a pheniox feather and murlap extract to the wokfbane potion? The murlaps healing powers and the phenioxs methods of coping with regeneration could perhaps counter the negative effects the hag root and pixie blood caused the potion to have. Or how patroniouses were different for each individual. What does that difference reflect, the soul, the mind, the physical differences of the body of the person. Maybe it was simply the way the spell was profor...... " BOYYYYY IF YOUR NOT HERE THIS INSTANT YOU WILL NEVER SEE DAYLIGHT AGAIN'. Sighing Harry stopped his hypothesis and headed towards his idiotic family.
