SCOUT PAXTON WAS SQUISHED IN THE BACK OF A JEEP SITTING IN AN AIRPORT PARKING GARAGE, BUCKY ON HER RIGHT AND SAM AND STEVE IN FRONT OF HER. The fifteen year old girl was in a confined space with an assassin, a superhero-gone-fugitive, and an Avenger on the run. The group of four had been waiting for a particular blue car to arrive, and once it did and Sharon Carter got out of the driver's seat, Steve left the three to sit there while they talked.
It was an awkward few moments of silence, and so Scout suggested that they turn on the radio. Sam leaned forward, pressing a button to play music, and "Yeah" by Usher came one. I can't even escape this song in Germany, she thought, letting out an exasperated groan. Sam gave her a side eye, pressing another button since it was obvious that this one wasn't up to her standards. The German language version of "Toxic" by Britney Spears began to play, and Sam started lip syncing a bit without realizing it.
Bucky's face stayed in a scowl the entire time, arms crossed over his chest. "Can you move your seat up?" He asked Sam.
"No." He frankly responded, holding a grudge against Bucky for getting them into this whole mess.
