i had a friend who was strong and bright.
she never struggled in a fight
she talked to me and let me cry on her shoulder
she was stronger than me even though i was older
but then one day someone broke her heart.
and for the first time she cried
she sobbed her eyes out all night
and her bright soul statred to become dim light
i tried to help her in every way i could
but nothing that would say or do did any good
one day i hope she will regaini her bright light
but we all know that this will not happen overnight
i guess what ive been meaning to write was that
i love this person and its all gonna be alright.
i know it may not feel like it right now but trust me babe im here to help
