No One's POV
Seo Eun woke up from the cold that was sneaking through her blanket. She lifted her head a bit over the window were snow was falling. "Get up already, jagi." she pushed her husband, Samuel who was sound asleep next to her. "KIM SAMUEL!" She yelled. Samuel quickly snapped out his dreams and jumped out of bed.
"Seriously? I was dreaming!" he complained. "Go and wake Jace." she commanded while going back to her sleep. Samuel sighed and walked up to his seven-year-old son's room. He quietly went inside where little Jace was tugged his sheets sleeping like an angel.
"Jacey." Samuel slowly rubbed his son's cheeks, trying to wake him up. "Time to go to school!" he said. "Appa, it's too early." Jace complained. "Gosh, just like your mom." Samuel mumbled. "Wake up or no sweets a week." Samuel said. Jace shot his eyes open and jumped out of bed, wiggling his little butt into the bathroom. A proud father chuckled while watching his son.
Seo Eun on the other hand jumped out of the bed and headed to the kitchen after washing herself up. "Pancakes or sandwich?" she yelled. "Pancakes!" Jace answered while letting his father put his school uniform on. "Let's go down." Samuel grabbed little Jace's hands as they headed to the kitchen.
"Have a great day at school honeybun." Seo Eun kissed Jace's forehead. "How about me?" Samuel pouted. "You too." she giggled as she gave him a short peck. Seo Eun still owned a publishing company but she usually writes at home. "Bye eomma." Jace waved as the son and the father walked out.
Seo Eun decided to research for her new novel the whole day she didn't notice a day had gone by. It was 2pm so she grabbed her car keys. It was her duty to pick up Jace. She arrived in front of Jace's school where she stood next to the other moms waiting for their kids.
"Eomma!" Jace ran out of his classroom and hugged Seo Eun. "Aigoo, how was your day at school?" Seo Eun asked. "It was great, we made airplanes." Jace explained as they hopped onto the car.
It was around 6 when Samuel came back from work. "Cmon, movie time!" Jace grabbed his father to the living room. Seo Eun was preparing the snacks. "Let's watch despicable me 3!" Jace suggested. The two parents smiled and agreed though cartoon is surely not their thing. Little Jace stood in front of them while laughing all along. Seo Eun was in Samuel's embrace while the trio watched the movie.
"Let's do it after putting Jace to sleep." Samuel whispered. "Do what appa?" Jace had a sharp ear. "Create a new baby brother for you." Samuel burst out into a laughter. "Samuel!" I hit him. "Really? Cool!" Jace's attention went back to the television. I glared at Samuel while he just laughed it off.
It was a happy family. Samuel and Seo Eun had happily graduated and pursued their dream careers. They got married and even gave birth to little Jace. They were never confronted by Lisa after getting their results. Therefore, Samuel never died. At least, it was how they remembered.
The memories of the original timeline disappeared from their heads. A timeline were Samuel died... a timeline were Yoongi existed. After the trials ended, Yoongi was erased out of existence. No one remembered him, not even Seo Eun. She was never going to know that Yoongi knew this would happen all along and he did all of this ... for her.
{Flashback start - before Seo Eun getting shot}
Yoongi was sitting with his breacher friend, Minhyun. They were tossing cans of beers while looking out the night sky. "I got a new list of deaths today." Minhyun said. "Your girl's on the list." he said. Yoongi sighed while gulping down the beer in his hands. "It would come one way or another."
"Why not try to stop?" Minhyun asked. "What for? They know I broke a rule. It's sooner or later I'll be called by the court." Yoongi said. "You can change that by turning him in." Minhyun suggested. "She deserves to be happy, hyung." Yoongi forced a smile. "And you deserve to be punished?" Minhyun exclaimed.
"I don't know hyung... I just love her." Yoongi finished the whole can aggressively.
{Flashback end}
"It feels weird today though." Seo Eun said as she was standing on the balcony with Samuel. They were watching the snow fall slowly while enjoying their wine. "I know right. It just feels too perfect." Samuel wrapped his hands around Seo Eun's waist.
"And it's a perfect time to say these three words, I love you babe." Samuel gave a short peck on Seo Eun's lips. "I love you too." Seo Eun replied. Samuel leaned in as they shared a long and quite passionate kiss.
