Doors at School
“The door had never been locked before.” Said Oliver. “How did I not know?” When Oliver and Sophia were trying to get into a room, but couldn’t. So they went to see if there was a janitor around, but they were the only people in school because Mr. Wilson asked if they would come. So they waited around for a half an hour. Mr. Wilson opened the door and asked them if they would come inside. Oliver thought it was weird so he didn’t go in. Sophia went in and asked “Oliver, why are you not coming in?” Oliver replied “No thanks, I will wait out here for our lunch that Mr. Wilson brought us.” So Sophia and Mr. Wilson went and got their lunch. Oliver went to the cafe to wait for them to come. They never did so he went back to “The door had never been locked before.” Then tried to open it. When Sophia and Mr. Wilson come down the hallway. Oliver said his thanks, then asked “Sir, do you have keys for that door.” “No I don’t and thanks for having lunch with me. I am going to leave now.” “Bye!” We yelled as Mr. Wilson went back down the hallway.
They were alone by the door. When Sophia said “I am leaving, have a good day.” “Okay, bye!”
Then it was only Oliver and the door. Oliver felt that he heard that someone is still down there, even after all these years. He tried kicking, punching, spiting, throwing his ball at the door, and everything else he can think of involving glaring at it. When it opened. He had seen a woman, so he opens it more. Chasing her, he asks “Who are you? Why didn’t you answer me earlier? Why did it get locked?” “Lily, and I didn’t hear you. I am fifty years old. I needed my privacy without anyone going into my room for the day.” Then they go downstairs and are under the school. When the woman turns into the principal in charge of Pauline Middle School. Oliver tries to escape, but it is no use. He asks “Have you been hiding here and living here all these years?” Since she has been here as the principal. When Oliver’s grandfather Simon was here as a student. “Yes, I have my dear. I have been watching you and your ancestors grow up.” “What are you?” “Same as you, a human. Machined to have a superpower. Your grandfather Simon’s was to fly, but only underground. Your dad’s to have the best hearing ever, but in his mouth. Yours, I can’t tell you that. When you figure it out, then I may confirm if it is right.” Oliver just stares at her, until he moves to a chair because he just threw-up. ! You will not come up with what superpower Oliver. Here is a clue his superpower is two senses combined. The senses aren’t where they are supposed to be. Use your imagination to come up with what it is.
The next day at school Oliver asks her “Will the door be locked forever?” “What door are you talking about, and you need to not let our imagination go wild on you!” Then he went to check the door and it had a sign on it that said “Turn back or you will never life again.” The door from then on would be locked up forever. Since someone was now using the room behind it. The person who knew the past of Oliver, up in till his grandfather, when they were students at Pauline Middle School. “The door had never been locked before.” read Oliver. The door had never been opened again.
