The One

Chapter 1~ the night

It was a cold night, the wind was a howling as I walked through the night. I had my headphones in as I walked pasted the school which was abandon a few years ago. 'We should explore it' I thought to myself. 'Well who would come with me?' I thought again, I looked around to see if anyone was looking at me, only a few people. I walked back home, I quietly shut the door so I wouldn't wake up my roommate. The lights turned on and I looked where the switch was and there standing was my roommate.
"Hey..." I said quietly, waving at him
"Why didn't you text me!" He said loudly
"Um..." I said quietly, I looked at the ground embarrassed.
"So?" He said, raising a eyebrow "Jack answer me" He said quietly
"I honestly forgot Craig" I said, as I started to walk upstairs. I was so tired as I landed on my bed. I quickly fell asleep, dreaming of nothing as I fell into the darkness of my mind. I woke up to a loud bang outside of my house. I jumped up and looked outside my window to see cops around the old school I walked pasted last night. 'Oh my' I thought to myself. I flew downstairs to my front door and throw it open, to see a cop standing at my doorstep just about to knock.
"May I help you?" I asked quietly
"There was been a  suicide across the way so if you have any information, please call 911" The cop says kindly as he walked away. I closed the door confused for awhile. 'Uh Okay?' I thought to myself. I walk into the kitchen, starving.
"Morning Jack" Craig said as he gently pushed me to get to the coffee machine. "Morning" I said as I gently push him back. I walk to the kettle, getting my tea ready. "So a cop come over and asked if we had any idea who the person was the killed them selfs at the school" I said as I waited for my tea. Craig turns around, confused like I was. He shrugs his shoulders as he takes his coffee to the table. "Do you want to explore it tonight when all the cops are gone?" I asked quietly as I sat down with my tea. "Sure, I'll ask a few of my friends to come too" Craig said taking out his phone and texting people. I text this group chat I was in with a few of my old school buddy.

Me: Hey does anyone want to explore that creepy school by my house?
Felix: I'm in!
Ryan: Same here
Arin: Sure I got nothing else to do.
Dan: I'm in if Arins in
Me: okay great come over at 7 pm
Everyone: okay!

'Okay now that I have a few friends coming with us, I need to pack!' I thought was I ran upstairs to start packing. I grabbed a extra pair of clothes just in case. I grab flashlights, batteries, snacks for everyone, and walkie talkies just in case we all get split up. I go downstairs to check the time and see it's only 4 pm. 'What can I do for three hours?' I asked myself as I sat down on the couch, turning on the T.V to a random channel before falling asleep. I quickly woke up to someone sitting on me. "H-hey!" I said loudly as the person got off of me. The person laughed 'I know that laugh it's Ryan's' I said as I sat up. I looked at my phone to see it was 6:59. "How long were you here for?" I asked still very tired. "Only a few minutes" Ryan says. Ryan was a tall, muscular, baby blue eyed man. His hair was a light brown closer to mine. Ryan jumped beside me, making me jump a bit. We sat there for a bit before we hear a knock. Ryan runs to get the door before I could get up. "Hey Ry!" A loud man yells as he walks in. "Hey Felix" Ryan says quietly. Felix is a loud guy, with blonde hair, blue eyes, a little taller than Ryan. I hear a quitter knock as Ryan and Felix talk, I walk over to the door and I open it to see Dan and Arin. "Hey guys" I said as they walk in. Arin was a bigger guy in the hips and stomach, with long light brown hair with a blonde streak, brown eyes. Dan was tall like Felix but with way curly hair, skinny like a stick. Dan's eyes were a brown like Arin's. "Okay we have everything?" I ask everyone, before I realize that Craig wasn't here. "Where's Craig?" I Ask confused. "He said that he didn't want to go, when I got here" Ryan said, quietly.
