Avery POV

“Can we eat out on the balcony?” I ask, carrying a plate of stir fry and the bottle of Jack towards the sliding glass doors.

“Okay, but wait in the kitchen just one second,” Ethan agrees.

“Why?” I pester.

“Just do it,” He says, kissing me, and setting his food down on the counter.

He walks out of the room and returns a few minutes later, motioning me to follow him outside. He grabs our plates and leads me to the sliding door. The small table out on the balcony had been set with two candles, my flowers from earlier, and the bottle of Jack I didn’t see he had nabbed from the counter. I blushed in the moonlight, as he set our plates down. He pulls out my chair, and I sit, as he presses play on the stereo. Half expecting some sad, instrumental bullshit to make this a picture perfect night, I was a little more than excited when Issues started to play just loudly enough for us out of the tiny speakers.

"You are too perfect," I giggle.

“Awe, so are you,” He smiles.

I can't help from blushing. We eat in silence for a few minutes, before I speak again.

“Wanna go to the movies after? There’s that scary one out I kind of wanted to see,” I suggest.

“Sure babe, sounds good,” He smiles.

We finish eating a short time later, and I run back back to the bedroom to change into a pair of faded skinny jeans and a t shirt. Ethan had changed back into into some jeans and a button down shirt while he waited for me. I quickly ran my fingers through my hair and touched up my make up before heading out to Ethan in the living room.

“Ready, beautiful?” He asks.

I blush and nod and follow him to the car. He held the door open and I slid in, and I watch him as he rounds the car, climbs in, and begins to drive. I watch his hands on the steering wheel as we drive. A short few minutes later, we pull into the parking lot of the cinema complex. Ethan tells me to wait, and he comes around and opens my door. We begin to walk through the parking lot, but Ethan moves me to the sidewalk just as some crazy man in a dark Buick drives rapidly through the parking lot.

“Wow. Dick,” Ethan says.

I roll my eyes and we continue the short walk to the theater. We stand in line for a few minutes, and as we’re just about to go up and pay for our tickets, we hear yelling. The crazy man from the Buick was inside the theater, and he was quickly approaching the ticket counter that we were at.

I couldn't even think as the man pulled a gun and pointed it straight at the man behind the ticket counter. People started screaming and Ethan pulled me to the side. I stand there and watch, as police were already slowly sneaking up from the front of the theater.

“You won’t shoot,” The man behind the counter argues, trying to stall the robber for the police.

"You wanna bet?" He screams.

Then there was a shot, and some more people were screaming and racing around to get out, and I was looking down at my stomach and I was bleeding. Then I was on the floor and looking up at Ethan, and he was crying, and people were still screaming. But, I couldn’t make any sounds pass my lips so I just kept mouthing I love you over and over again.

Sorry for the shitty filler, enjoy!
