;Chapter Two;
Skyler's POV
"Going your way, Keith!" I kicked the soccer ball toward him. He then stops it with his knee, jumps, and kicks the ball into the net without breaking a sweat. "Nice."
Keith nodded. "Nice pass."
"As expected from you two. Nice job." I turned at a sophomore. He used to be the soccer star last year, but I guess we took his place unintentionally.
"Thanks," I replied, walking back onto the bleachers. I took out my water bottle, even though I wasn't really thirsty, which is weird because everyone else around me was sweating so much.
"You don't seem tired," says Keith, as if reading my mind.
"Same with you," I answered.
Keith chuckled and drank from his Gatorade.
"Great job as always, Skyler and Keith," says a well-built man with short brown hair and a goatee; Coach Tough. Yep, that's his real last name. "Everyone, take a short break and we'll do drills again." Everyone groaned. "Do you want to win the Championship or what?"
He asks that even though our school seems to always win at every soccer game. And for some reason, there's at least a star soccer player each year. I'd call it a coincidence, but everyone else calls it fate, which is probably why our school is crowded. But anyway, last year got to Nationals. I didn't really pay attention after that though.
"Gosh, I wish I had your stamina. I can't seem to run across the soccer field without fainting," says a skinny boy to my right. He had shoulder length brown hair and a kind-of baby face.
I shrugged.
He laughed. "I'm Matt. Oh, no need to say your name. I already know. Your name is always mentioned around the school."
Again, I shrugged.
"Well, it was nice to meet you." Matt nodded and hopped down the bleachers. I watched him as he trips on someone's bag and falls face first on someone else's shoes.
Ouch.
The coach blew his whistle.
Tifa's POV
"Do you have more blue paint?" asked Elena, a medium-height girl with straight brown hair and brown eyes asked. She's one of the new transfer students from Asia. She's really pretty with long eyelashes, tan skin, and a smooth oval face.
I looked at the colorful bin that lay next to me. "I have a lot of different shades. Here, pick one that looks best." I lifted up my bin and gave it to her.
She laughed apologetically. "Sorry."
"No problem," I said, smiling.
Her eyes widened. "That's a lot of shades for blue. Hey, you also have bright red. Tia, you need red right?"
Elena turned to her right, where a girl with the same height, jet black hair, black eyes, mature face, and pale skin sat. I don't want to call her goth or anything, but she was wearing accessories concerning spikes, including a black spiky choker. Elena called her fashion "Tia-fied", which is their term for spiked clothing.
Tia nodded and took the red from Elena. "Thanks."
Elena jerked, as if realizing something. "Sorry, Tifa. Did you need the red?"
I shook my head and smiled to reassure her. Looking at both of them, you'd think they were opposites, since they have different tastes in clothing, but from their personality, I can see how they're friends.
"So, you guys came from Asia, right? That's really cool. I wanna go there some day," I started. "My mom said she was born there."
Elena nodded. "It's pretty cool. I mean hot. Since you know, it's near the equator? Not the other hot but... yeah."
I laughed. "I get it."
Tia raised an eyebrow. "Smooth."
Oh yeah, right now we're in Art Club, which is after school. They wanted to join on the first day they came, which was yesterday, and we gladly let them in. The more the merrier!
Ms. Avy, the Art Club teacher, assigned us to paint what we're feeling right now. She says it's best to express your feelings through art. I totally agree!
"You're painting pancakes, Tifa?" asks Ms. Avy, observing my painting from behind me.
"Yep! This morning, my mom gave me five stacks and I can't stop thinking about it. The dazzling dough with butter and syrup." My mouth watered as my stomach growled. "I think my stomach agrees!"
The room erupted in laughter, including a smile from Tia.
"Well, it is what you're feeling right now, so I'll make an acception." Ms. Avy giggles. The thing about Ms. Avy, is she's really shy, but once you get to know her, she brightens up and expects great things from you, like a best friend. I envy her looks too: flawless skin with rosy cheeks, pale blue eyes, and long, straight brown hair that went down her back.
So basically, she looks innocent, which, I admit, is the opposite of me. No thanks to Skyler! That annoying bastard.
I scan the room and noticed that Lia wasn't here today. It's no surprise, really. She hates painting or anything that involves art. In return, I hate her for that, but of course, I forgive her if she treats me in IHOP. Anyway, I bet she's watching the soccer practice going on today with Chelien and Joanne.
Did I also forget to mention that Lia likes Skyler? When she told me, I wanted to gag. Don't you agree?

For the last question, I put a cartoon version of Sklyer on the multimedia box. (Minus the blood LOL) >>>
Sorry, I can't find real life people with the traits I put... Do you know someone with dark green hair and yellow eyes or red hair and orange eyes?? o_o;
