Everyone in the Society had to, at one point in their life, go through the simulation. The government had years ago assigned an apocalyptic simulation to be tested with everyone. They claimed it to be " Preparation for worst case scenarios", But it doesn't really seem relevant to today's society. Maybe that's because the real reason behind the simulations is still unconfirmed, or if you prefer a more technical term, classified, as the government says. It's rumoured that if you die in the simulation, you never come back. No one knows how true that is, but there have been some circumstances where that happens. All anyone knows is that you either pass or try and die again and again until you do pass.
Despite the countless successful simulations, there is one account of someone who failed. They say that each time he failed, he would have some kind of mark from his deaths. Of course, that was only a rumour, but what was true was that he entered and was never seen again. Officials said he faded into non-existence. They claimed he died one too many times and the simulation killed him. Others say that the government killed him since he failed so many times. Some found it odd that he would always die two days prior to the success line. Society came up with some warped reason to cover up his disappearance. Of course, people believed it. I don't. Do you?
