We walked around for little while until the bushes shifted and a ball of blue charged out, knocking me down. As I hit the dirt, a doglike face filled my line of vision with large black alien like eyes, it's nose twitching as it got closer to my face. I gulped. "Nice doggy?"

"Stitch! Stitch get off her!" A pair of small hands dragged the creature off me and I scrambled back to my feet, looking at the owner.

A girl younger then me wearing a red and white topical dress stood several feet away, raising a curious eyebrow upon looking me over. "You don't look like a non-princess. Who are you?" She turned to Alice. "Who is she?" She rolled her blue eyes. "A princess, technically. Daughter of Ariel and Eric. We're taking her on a tour of the place. Lilo meet Melody, Melody meet Lilo, one of the youngest kids here. The bundle of blue power is Stitch her alien." My eyes popped open.

"Alien?" Lilo raised a skeptical brow. "Is that a problem?" "No! Of course not!" She looked at me for a long moment before bursting in smile.

"Okay then! Oh, almost forgot!" She turned to the other three. "Great news, the captain's returning to camp tonight! Nature says we're gonna have a party to celebrate, with all the trimmings!" A loud cheer rose up, making me jump.

"Uh, who's the captain?" Everyone looked at me like I'd grown a second head, except Shanti.

"The captain's a friend of ours, a non princess. But she's an adult so she's usually on the move. We usually hold a party every time she returns, even though she hates the attention. And every time there's a party our friend Mother Nature comes along. Come to think of it, why don't you come with us? It'll be a great way for you to meet everyone." Wendy's eyes lit up.

"Actually yeah, you should come along. We could show you the ropes." I was still cautious. "Is it formal? I don't have anything to wear." "Looks fine to me." Alice said, arms crossed over her almost flat chest, Wendy glared at her before turning back to me.

"What do you say Melody? Want to really see this place?" Everyone looked at me expectantly, waiting. I inwardly gave in with a silent sigh. It'll be an adventure that's for sure.

"Why not?" The cheer that erupted shook me deep in my bones.
