Living with the enemy

Chapter Eight.

[Nicole's POV]

I was standing at the bottom of the stairs waiting for Sasha. As I look up, I see Luke walking down with Sasha, there hands in each other. Dad owes me $50! I looked over at him and smirked. He had notice it as well. He mouthed something to me then told Luke what to do. We all walk over to the door and went out to the ute. Me and Sasha sat in the back, while mum and dad sat in the front. I looked over and saw Sasha smiling at her phone. Hmmm, wonder who she is talking to. I look out of the window. The sun is going down as we drive out of our driveway and onto the highway. I watch as the light blue sky turned into a darker blue and the stars came out. We had arrive at the showgrounds, where the pony club meeting will be in 30 minutes. We all get out and walk into the shed. Sasha went and sat with her friends. I sat down beside my mum, not wanting to social with my friends.

We had all just finished eating dinner and now we are voting who we want leader. This year, four people put there names down. Sasha, Logan, Jackson and I. Miss Cassidy (The lady who runs the whole pony club) gathered up the last votes. All the kids that put there name to lead the group when went away to events, stood up. Miss Cassidy went over to the table she was sitting at. She tipped the all the pieces of paper out and counted them up. Then she came up to the stage where we are standing. She grabbed the microphone and put it up to her lips. "Our new leader for 2018 will be... Sasha Silver!" She said, a smile on her face. Sasha walked over to her while. She was given a badge that said 'GROUP LEADER'. I put on a fake smile and said good job to her. After that, we all headed home.

[Luke's POV]

I heard the ute pull up and the door open. I walked over to my door and saw a very cranky Nicole and a happy Sasha. Nicole went into her room and slammed her door. I shut my door and went over to the door of the middle wall. I knocked on it. "Hold on!" Sasha yelled from the other side. I waited for a few seconds and the door opened. "Hey." She said smiling. I walked in and wrapped her into a hug. "Hello." I said kissing her forehead. "How was tonight?" I asked her as she lead us over to her bed. We both sat down, her in my lap facing me. "It was great. Though I don't think your sister thinks the same." Sasha said. I chuckled and her comment. "I'm guessing she didn't get to be the leader?" I asked, already knowing what the answer is. "No she didn't, but I did." She said smiling. There was a sparkle in her eyes. "That's great." I said smiling at her. She leaned in, out noses touching. I brushed my lips against hers. She wrapped her hands around my neck and kissed me. I put my hands onto her hips and kissed her back. She pulled away and smiled. "Time for bed now." She said, in a whisper. She pulled away from my grasp and hoped of my lap. "Would you like me to sleep with you?" I asked, a smirk on my face. She turned around and smirked at me. "As much as I would love that, I am going to have to decline. Goodnight Luke." She said, giving me a peck on the lips. "Goodnight Sasha." I whispered into her ear. I then walked over to the door and went into my room.

[Sasha's POV]

"Goodnight Sasha" Luke whispered into my ear, sending a chill down my spine. After he closed the door, I put on some pj's and hope under my blankets. I grabbed my phone. It was 11:00. I realised that I haven't done my streaks yet, so I quickly did them. I was about to put my phone down when it buzzed. I looked at the screen and saw that it was from Luke.

~Luke~

I can't sleep. Are you awake still??

~Sasha~

Yes i am still awake. Why?

He answered seconds later.

~Luke~

Can I come in?

I thought to myself. It would be nice to have some company.

~Sasha~

Sure

As soon as I hit the send button, the door open. He knew I was going to say yes. He come over to my bed and layed down beside me. I snuggled up into his chest. He had no shirt one. "You could've at least put a shirt on." He smiled at me. "I can if you want me to." He was about to get of the bed. "No." I said holding onto his hand. He layed back down beside me. I snuggled back into his chest and he wrapped his hand around my waist. "I love you." He said, pressing a kiss on top of my head. "I love you to" I said back to him. "Also, thanks for the hickey. I didn't notice it until my friends starting asking me questions." He chuckled at this. "Your welcome." He said, the smirk clear on his face. I smiled at him. He put me on top on him. I looked down at him. I traced some of his tattoos. As I was looking over them one caught my eye. It was a love heart. "Why do you have a love heart?" I asked. "I got it when was with a girl. I was going to get her name in it. Just as they finished the heart, she came in and said it was over. I was heart broken, but I never got the tattoo covered up because I knew I would find someone else and I would put there name in it." He said in one big breath. I smiled at him. I leaned down to his ear. "I hope it be me." I said in a whisper. I kissed him on the cheek and laid back down beside him. I turned my lamp of and snuggled up to his chest. "Goodnight beautiful." He said to me. "Goodnight handsome." I said before drifting of. As I was drifting of, I felt his hands wrap around me and he pulled me closer to him.
