STONES

Darkness narrows my vision
I'm frozen, stuck in place
The rope in my chest tightens
Making its self known

I can hear my own fast breaths
My heart beat accelerating
The rope constricts again
Squeezing my next breath from my lungs

The faint smell of copper
And darkness fills the air
Cold invades my mind
As I taste the nothingness around me

I can feel the anticipation
A coppery, blood like tang fills my throat
The shutters close around me
The rope closes completely filling me with dread and fear

All I can hear is their hurtful words
Thrown at me like heavy stones
And they hit me hard.
