Chapter 9

Mike and I still tried to get to the door where people were going into the upside down. Until I heard a crack.
" it's to late " Mike whispers. " ITS TO LATE!" I screamed and got out of Bobs grip along with Mike. 
We ran to Wills room with Ms. Joyce still there.
" What's going on?!" She asked in concern.
" We're under attack " Mike answered.
" They broke out of the glass" I informed.
" Who?" She was still confused.
" No time to explain " I looked around the room. I saw syringes and medicine. While nobody was looking I quickly shoved them in my pocket.
" We need to make Will asleep!" Mike said taking a syringe I forgot to grab.
" He's a spy and if he knows where we are then so does the showdown monster!"
" HES LYING" Will was quick to say. He repeatedly said it screaming while doing so. I loaded the syringe with sleeping stuff and handed it to Ms. Joyce. Mike and I covered our ears from Wills powerful shrieks.
Once he was asleep Hoper took him over his shoulder and we ran. Before leaving the room I saw a gun on the chair the scientist were sitting in. I grabbed it quickly and ran to catch up with the group. There was a security room nearby and the scientist shoved us in. Hoper put Will down and I looked on the security cameras. People were dead, guns were being fired, and demigorgens were on the loose. The lights flickered and everything went black. Now all we heard were the shrieks of the demigorgens.
The rest of the group was making a escape plane while I was sitting by Will. I stoked his brown, flowing hair.
I failed him was all I could think. I failed him again.
" Where's Bob?" I asked looking around seeing one is missing.
" He's going to turn the power back on " Hoper replied sternly.
" What?!" I yelled. " How is he being instructed?"
" By me " The scientist raised his hand.
" Let me help " I ran towards the cameras. There was a walkie talkie thing that he was talking to bob to. 
suddenly the power turns back on. I run right to the cameras, the scientist by my side. The scientist started talking to bob, I was the on the look out. Bob started walking down the hall until I saw one of those little basterds.
" Bob do you see a closet beside you?" I asked into the walky talky.
" Yes" his answer a little fuzzy.
" Get in it. Unless you want some company " I instructed as he did.
The demigorgen walk on and he got out.
Finally the Coast was clear and we left out the side door.
I sighed in relief until I noticed bob wasn't there.
" Uh guys where's bob "
Ms. Joyce and Hoper ran back in. I heard screaming and gunfire. I ran in and saw bob being attacked and eaten by a demigorgen. I couldn't move. I was paralyzed. I watched until Hoper threw me over his shoulder and took me outside.
" WHAT HAPPENED" Mike yelled in my ear.
" Mike " I gasped. " Don't scream in my ear "
" Well what happened. " I was about to tell him until a car rolled up. The person who opened the door was Johnathan, Wills brother. And Nacey, Mikes sister.
" Get in" We rushed to all fit in the car and we rode to Wills
