I was calling an old friend of mine around the witching hour. He is the leader of a gang that I was in a few months ago. I quit when shit got a little to crazy with another gang. It was full out war. I am still good friends with them all though. I do remember that the leader was a vicious man. He always wore black and red. After a few rings a raspy, rough yet somehow silky and deep voice answered. A smile almost appeared on my lips.
"Hello?" the man said.
"Sup Darky!" I replied, no longer being able to contain my shit eating grin.
"Long time no hear... Princess." Dark said in playful tone.
"Are you going to hold a meeting anytime soon? If yes, then tell me when." I said in a more serious than I normally have.
"I can call one right one now. Why do you ask? Do you need help Princess?" Dark teased.
"Actually I do need help. It's important that I tell all of you something. It concerns the whole gang and I know you all will help me. I'll meet you at the hideout in five Darky." I explained and hung up.
I undressed myself and got out of my pajamas. I decided to wear a black tank top, black skinny jeans, combat boots and a bandanna with a symbol on it.(pic of symbol at top) I opened my window wide enough to let me get out of here. I jumped from my window and onto the soft green grass. I take my earbuds out and plug them into my phone. I click play on my favorite rock 'n roll playlist and start walking to where the meeting was going to be held at. I wonder to an old abandoned warehouse. It's not really abandoned anymore. Dark now uses it to hold meetings and as a place to help others. He may be an ass and be violent, but underneath his dark personality is a man with a big heart. Dark isn't Dark's real name. We made up code names for ourselves since we thought it sounded cool at the time. Now we have come to realize that our code names represent part of who we are. My code name is Princess. It represents that all of them think of me as a leader and someone of higher importance. In our gang we have a second and third hand with Dark as the leader. The third hand is man by the name of Dier. Then there is a newbie named Glitch who is the second hand. Then there is Madz, he is like the doctor/ strategist of the group. I haven'y met Glitch yet. I arrive in four minutes. I enter and see everyone at the grand table. There is a seat on the closer end for me. Dark is sitting at the far end and Glitch and Dier are sitting on both sides of him. Dier was looking pissed...as per usual.
"Gentlemen, be on your worst behavior for a guest called this meeting." I heard Dark say. His chocolate eyes landed on me. I smirked and looked at all the familiar faces. All but one that is.
"Thanks Dark. Surprised that you of all people might want to see me." I said teasingly and walked over to him. I shook his hand and looked at the gang's shocked reactions.
"Nice to see you too. Now enlighten me as to why you called all of us here?" He said curiously. I took my seat and smirked as I looked at everyone.
" There are new students at my school. Two of my girls are dating two of those three. I held a party for them...it was the only way to get to know them without them realizing it and me having to ask weird questions while they are sober. I was able to find out almost everything, but they aren't why I'm here. It's not because I want to chat either. Someone was spying on me. I saw someone watching me the morning after the party and there were only two people awake. Me and the tallest of the new kids. He was making breakfast and I saw the others passed out cuddling my girls on the floor." I explained to them. They all looked at me with fear. Glitch was a little confused though.
"Holy Satan,Princess! Do you know..." Dier started to say.
"I do know. That's why I'm here first. He's back and he's pissed off more than ever." I cut him off. I sighed and leaned back in my chair.
"What the hell are we going to do?! Jackson won't help us. He hates us remember?!" Dier let some steam off at his little rant.
"It's going to be okay guys. I'm sorry for scaring Glitch. I have Jackie to hack into anything for us and Kayla to help us do some spy work. I can probably manipulate the new kids to do shit for me too. Also, don't fucking disrespect my brother Dier." I said to him.
"Sorry not sorry Princess. Your brother is a cock sucking son of a..." Dier said, but I cut him off before he could finish his next sentence.
"Jackson is my brother dickshit! Don't forget your focking place Dier! I'm stronger, braver, smarter, and quicker than your dumbass." I yelled and stood up. My glare burned holes into Dier as he shrunk in his seat. Dark quickly moved Glitch into his own seat and ran over to me.
I gripped at my hair and started to find it hard to breathe. He put one of his hands on my the back of my head and the other was touching my stomach. I couldn't hear anything. I could make out Dark's worried face and him saying something. He might have been talking to me. I was having an anger panic attack. I tried my best to focus on Dark. I remembered a breathing technique that he taught me when I first met him. I started to do it. In for 4, hold for 8, out for 4, repeat. I finally started to calm down. When I finally calmed down, I realized everyone was looking at me.
"Are you okay?!" Glitch asked me as he quickly made his way to me. He started acting as if he was my mother.
"I'm fine. Thanks Dark, I awe you one..again. I haven't had one of those since I was in the gang." I said wearily. I tried to walk, but fell instead.
"Princess!" Dark yelled as he caught me before I hit the floor. He helped me to my seat and gave me a worried look. Glitch had gotten me some tea.
"Can someone call Jackson or Ginger to pick me up? I walked here and it doesn't look like I'll be walking for anytime soon." I asked realizing that for the first time in forever, I'm weak. I won't be a vigilante for a while...
