hayden's pov
-
I grabbed my car keys and and walked down to the lobby of the apartment. My dad usually never calls me to his studio. Usually I just go there for fun.

It was pretty cold and the weather was calling for some light snowfall. "Omg! You're Hayden Summerall!! Can I take a picture?" A girl asked, walking up to me.

I smiled and gladly took the picture. I continued my journey to my dads studio.

After the long drive do to traffic, I walk in and see the front lady. "Ah, Hayden. Your dad wants to you to see him in his office." She smiled.

I thanked her and took the elevator to floor 9. I step out walk the empty hallways. I knock on my dads door. "Come in!" He says.

I walk in. "Hey dad." I smile. "Hayden! How are ya bud?" My dad said, looking up from his computer screen.

"Good. What did you need me for?" I asked, sitting down in the chair in front of him. "Well, since we have all male singers in the building... I was thinking if maybe we could possibly get a female singer." He smiled.

"That's great! But... why are you telling me this?" I said, tilting my head a bit. "I was thinking of holding auditions in our local auditorium! And I want you to be one of the judges as long with Johnny and Mackenzie." He exclaimed.

"Awesome! But, how are we going to get the word out?" I asked. "Don't worry about that. I just need you to post it on your Instagram." He said.

"Also, they are in 3 days." My dad said, typing something into his computer.

Annie's POV

"Hey honey! How was school?" My mom asked me as I buckled up my seatbelt. "Eh." I shrugged. "Well, your father hasn't been home for the past week. And I wanted to show you something." She said.

I was both curious and nervous at what my mom had to show me. "Is it good?" I asked, shyly. "I think so." She smiled slightly.

Once we reached home, I dashed inside to see Hayley watching a show on our old fashioned tv. "Hey Haybug!" I smiled squeezing her with a hug.

"Hey Anns." She smiled. My mom walked in the door with a paper in her hands. She smiled as she handed it to me.

I was confused but took the paper. It was a divorce. I looked back up at my mom in fear. "You and dad are getting a divorce?" I said, almost whispering my words.

"Yes Annie, it's the best for us. He's been nothing but a pain and obstacle in our lives." My mom explained.

I nodded and walked to my room. I placed my backpack on the floor and hopped on my croaky bed. I sigh and just take a moment to think about life.

It sucks.
