Adrian's POV

After the struggle I managed to get Rose to quiet down, I gave her the cut up apples I had in my bag. For a girl who eats her own kind- well my own kinds flesh, she really had no problem eating fruit. I tried to cradle her in my arms but she was very squirmy like a child "So... Who is that man? In the news clippings?" At that moment Rose froze, in fear, anger, but most of all sadness.

Rose POV

I stopped eating the apple slices when Adrian asked me who that man was, i was struck with fear "H-He... He's my doctor..."

Adrian smiled "That's not scary" he said, "It is when your doctor poisons you... When he cuts you open when your awake..." Adrian's smile turned into a face of fear, I thought I would never see him this scared

Rose and Adrian continued to talk, most about the man in the white coat but other then that they discussed why each other was hear, "I only need gas, for my car" Adrian said, a small smile on his face. "We'll there's some in the generator down stairs, but I don't know if gas can go bad" Rose and Adrian laughed, they walked downstairs trudging threw the pool of blood that surrounded the generator "What happen' down hear?" Adrian said quite astonished "The doctors gave me laughing gas.. I was only nine so I didn't know how to really react" Rose said flustered, as they drained the gas from the generator Adrian felt something move against his leg, "Rose? Was that you?" "What was me?" Rose asked, at that moment Adrian was struck down by a unknown figure, before he hit the floor he saw a women in a black dress lift Rose up by the neck. Adrian blacked out in the pool of blood
