The sound of the wind drowning out every thought within his mind caused a sense of excitement to flow throughout his veins. His eyes instantly closed as he lifted his head towards the sky, the bright sun shining against his features, his chiseled jawline and perfectly shaped cheekbones poked out. His slowly opened his eyes to see himself on the edge of the building, and his lips curved into a smile.

He was finally going to jump...

Finally.

He lifted a foot and stretched it out before the building, hovering it in midair with a grin. He might've looked crazy — and in a sense he was. Was he proud? Of course not, but with all of these mental thoughts, he might as well be crazy.

His arms stretched out wide, and he slowly began to lean himself forward before a breath-filled voice shouted out towards him.

"Don't jump! Please!"

When he turned around, he swore he saw an angel. And for whatever reason after that, everything grew black.
