TWELVE

Dahyun was packing some food into the container before putting it into a bag. Baekhyun who just wake up looked at Dahyun confusedly. "Why are you packing so much food?" He asked as he scratch his not-itchy head. "I...uhm...it is for...I am about to...." Dahyun was in lost of words. She was stuttered.

"You want to give it to Kai?" Baekhyun asked with slightly a jealous tone. "No!! It's not for him, this is.." Dahyun stopped as she tried to think for an answer. "Why is it so hard for you to say?" Baekhyun said. He rolled his eyes. "It's for my dad!" Dahyun finally manage to let it out. Baekhyun who was about to go to his bedroom stopped on his track. He looked back at Dahyun. Dahyun gulped.

"Why are you so afraid to tell me?" Baekhyun asked. "I....I'm afraid that you will get mad. You told me to not meet my dad anymore. But, I can't he is still my father after all." Dahyun said. She just looked down on her feet. Baekhyun smiled softly, unfortunately Dahyun didn't saw that. He walked closer to Dahyun. "So, you are going to meet him today? May I go with you? Or you want to go alone?" Baekhyun asked softly. He tucked a strand of Dahyun hair behind her ear. Dahyun shocked by the action and the question. She immediately looked up to Baekhyun.

Baekhyun smile was never fade away. Dahyun finally smiled back to Baekhyun. "Let's go together." Dahyun said. Baekhyun nodded and rushed to his room to get ready.

"Appa...." Dahyun said. His dad was looking at her all the time. "I brought you some food. I know, they give you food in here, but the taste must be different. So, I make this for you. Hope you will like it." Dahyun explained. Her dad smiled. "Thank you Dahyun-aa...I miss your cooking so much." He said and chuckled. He grabbed the spoon and ate the food deliciously. It's not that he hasn't eaten for a month but he really missed the food that his only daughter cook.

"I still, hasn't say sorry for taking your daughter with me and left you." Baekhyun said out of the blue. Dahyun dad shook his head. "Aniya...if it's not because of you, no one will look after her. I don't even take a very good care of her. I'm thankful you take her." He said. Dahyun smiled while looking at her dad. Her hand silently made a way to Baekhyun's hand under the table. She held it tightly which Baekhyun held back.

The feeling they felt is something that can't be describe by each of them. They don't know that love sparks inside and still denying it. Because they thought that they are just a substitute, a replacement.

"My dad look very happy." Dahyun said on their way to her work place. "Yeah, he sure is after meeting you. You too look so much happy." Baekhyun confessed his thought. Dahyun looked at Baekhyun as their legs are still walking. "Why?" Baekhyun asked. Dahyun shook her head. "I wonder if you are happy too. It's unfair that I'm happy alone." She said. "Of course I am happy. Because your smile make me so." Bakehyun said and Dahyun's smile became wider.

"Baekhyun-aa!!" Their conversation were interfered with a girl voice. They both looked back to the owner of the voice. This situation remembered Dahyun the moment where Nayeon confessed her feeling to Baekhyun. But, this time it's not Nayeon or any girl from their school. She was someone else.

"Who's that?" Dahyun asked. "That was my...." But, Baekhyun words were cut by the girl hugging him. "Finally found you." She said as she snuggled more closer to Baekhyun. "Okay, it looks like you has been searching for him all day long. Have a good time together." Dahyun said as she snatched the bag filled with container from Baekhyun's hand and went away. "Who's that?" The girl asked and Baekhyun was all speechless that time. To shocked by Dahyun's action leaving him with the girl there.

Dahyun kept walking to her workplace. "So cheap." She said referring to the girl from early. She didn't realize that she was jealous. Everything she did were all a mess. She did a lot of mistakes making she getting a lot of scolds from the boss and other worker, includin her friends Jungyeon and Kai.

She sat on the bench in the staff room. She had her head on her palm. Probably crying. Everyone has went home except her. She thought that it was only her but suddenly the door opened revealed Suho who was shocked seeing Dahyun in that state. Eyes and nose were red from crying too much. Suho sat next to her. He patted Dahyun's shoulder.

"Is it Kai?" Suho asked. No answer. Suho sighed softly. "He was too much isn't he? He should not shout at you like that." Suho said. Dahyun looked up to Suho. "Today, you are the only one who didn't angry to me. Everyone were angry and someone made me so angry. He was the one who should be responsible for this." Dahyun said with her soft sobs. Suho nodded as he understand what Dahyun was trying to say.

"Aren't you going home?" Suho asked. Dahyun shook her head. "May I spend a night here?" Dahyun asked. "It's dangerous. If you sleep here alone, we don't know what bad thing could happen. I suggest you to go back home or maybe Kai's house?" Suho said. Dahyun shook her head again. She didn't want to meet neither Baekhyun nor Kai. "If you are fine, let's go to my home?" Suho said.

Dahyun looked up to Suho confusedly. "Why your house?" Dahyun asked. "I don't know anyone house other than Kai. He is my only friend and as his friend, I think I should take care of his virtual sister. Isn't it?" He said. Dahyun looked down to her feet as she thought. "Let's just go to my house for tonight. We have school tomorrow and you need to rest after being shouted and pushed here and there." Suho said. Dahyun slightly nodded.

Everyone were shocked to see Dahyun coming to school with Suho and not Baekhyun. Everyone were curious either Dahyun and Baekhyun has a crisis or fight or something. Rumors spread fast. Baekhyun who heard that quickly ran to Dahyun class and met with Dahyun and Suho in the middle of the way. "Where are you last night? Why are you coming to school with him?" Baekhyun asked slightly irritated and angry. Not to Dahyun but to himself.

"I..." Dahyun said but being cut by Suho. "If you are that worried why don't you come to find her last night?" Suho said. "I did." Baekhyun said firmly and ignored Suho existence. He pulled Dahyun into a hug. "Why did you left me like that?"He whispered. "No, you should ask yourself. Why did you let me leave?" Dahyun asked. Baekhyun was at lost of words. "Dahyun." Baekhyun called for her when she pushed him away. 

"Hope you have fun yesterday. I'm sorry for taking you to visit my dad. I don't know that she was looking for you like crazy. I'm happy that she finally found you. Finally you find someone to replace your real love. Not a fake from me." Dahyun said as she walked away leaving Baekhyun dumbfounded and Suho went to his class also leaving Baekhyun.

"She isn't...." Baekhyun muttered but none of the people could heard it. Should he cried -- "Baekhyun-aa. We're going in the same class!" that voice again -- or should he be angry?
