Few working hours later, just before Lunch time
Ved fidgeted with his mobile looking over his cubicle occasionally.
Damn! Srivastav is on rounds and he is being very strict this time. Ved is feeling desperate to text Natasha. Since the kiss, they haven't had a proper conversation and they should. Ved had been controlling his urges but now it is out of control. He glanced up again, Srivastav is quite far. Ved quickly looked back and hid his mobile under the table and texted.
Ved: Hey!
He was nervous about getting caught and so didn't type anything further and quickly placed the phone face down on the table beside his computer's mouse. He glanced up. Srivastav has come a little closer. He exhaled loudly and got back to his work. But as he typed he kept looking at his phone from the corner of his eyes. His fingers itched to pick it up and text her.
A few minutes later, unable to take it any longer. Ved extended his hand and was about to pick up the phone when someone cleared their throat and he jumped retracting his hand. He turned his head and looked up. Srivastav gave him a sarcastic smile.
After his boss had left, Ved lifted the phone little and tilted it slightly. There is a green dot blinking. He smiled – She has texted back.
Ved glanced back, Srivastav is busy scolding the peon for getting him cold tea. Ved shook his head and turned back to his phone. He unlocked his phone and directly went to his inbox.
Natasha: Hey!
Ved smiled, glanced back again and texted
Ved: Are you free, tonight? I need to talk to you something. Important.
He quickly sent the text and placed his phone back on the table. This time face up. He worked but kept glancing at his phone repeatedly.
His phone vibrated, and green dot began to blink again. Ved smiled.
Natasha: Yeah, okay. Shall I bring Asha along?
Ved took few seconds to compose the right words and wrote,
Ved: Actually, I wanted to talk to you, alone
He bit his lip and waited for her text. He shook his leg nervously as he waited patiently.
Natasha: What happened, Ved? Is everything alright.
Ved: Yes, yes. But its personal that's why. But if you aren't comfortable then we can talk after your shift is over in front of the Café.
Natasha: After last night, I trust you, Ved. I will drop by your place around 8. Is it okay?
Ved smiled widely and typed
Ved: Yes *smiley* But I have little more work than usual today, so I might not show up at the Café.
Natasha: Cool. No problem.
Ved smiled placed his phone and leaned in his chair. He smiled stupidly at his computer screen.

Ved was overexcited. He could barely contain his excitement when he returned home. By this time, Aditya had left. He hadn't come to work and had gone straight home after he had woken from his slumber.
Ved showered making sure he applied a generous amount of shampoo and shower gel. He took his time to choose his attire. White shirt and mustard pants. As he gelled his hair the door-bell rang. He smiled and quickly applied cologne and hurriedly left the room.
