__________----------------------Prologue-------------------------__________
Click clack. Click clack. The black and white she-cat flinched each time she heard the twolegs walk past the....thing she was trapped in. She shivered slightly as she tried to ignore the tight twoleg collar stuck around her neck.
She slowly opened her eyes to see a twoleg's face staring straight back at her. She hissed at the twoleg, backing up slightly. She had missed her mother and siblings from her old twoleg nest. She had been swooped up and taken away from them and brought into this new, odd smelling twoleg nest.
"Don't get so close to her; If you scare her she won't like you!" One of the twolegs yowled. The twoleg who has been too close soon backed up, leaving room between her and the thing.
'And I'll make sure you know.' The she-cat thought, unsheathing her claws and flexing them a bit. Her gaze flickered towards the twoleg's long paw, as it reached towards her prison's door. 'Ugh, Finally.' They continued to open the.. 'Crate. It's a crate' door.
As soon as it opened, she walked through the door without looking back. She bolted out of the crate, running towards the open sliding door in the kitchen. Once she got through the door, she was screeched to a halt, noticing a large wooden fence spanning the yard's perimeter.
She rolled her haunches up like a spring, soon leaping onto the edge of the fence. She steadied herself, soon laying on the flat top of said fence. She swallowed painfully, as her collar blocked her from swallowing. She clawed at her collar, attempting to make a mark, but failing.
"When can I get this stupid thing off?" She hissed, wondering soon after if anyone had heard her. She knew others lived near, yet she was too fearful at the moment to meet them face-to-face. Little did she know, she would meet her best friends here.
