I haven't played Moshi in a long time, but this story was based on a question in the news... Hope you enjoy, especially all those Moshi fans out there... ;D And sorry but I'm too lazy to make this story in parts. Pls COTAN! (comment, vote, fan) Hey, I asked nicely...

.................................................................................................................................................................................

His real name, he refuses to tell, but many people call him... Elder Furi*. And here's his story...

He lived in a poor village far, far away from Monstro city*...in other words, far away from any civilization at all. He had always made his family proud in all that he did. Although he was the top student in his class and always got straight A's, he was a laughing stock to many in his school as his family was poor. Despite that, he never gave up. Every day, after school hours, he would work as a construction worker to earn money for his family and every week, he would buy sacks of rice and vegetables for his family.

Once he had come to 20 years of age and had graduated, he worked full-time as a construction worker. Eventually, he got promoted and got a raise in salary. He then imagined to himself about the probability of how successful he could be in the future. He the created a plan and a dream for himself to follow in life; after earning enough money to do so, he and his family would move to Monstro city and he would become the C.E.O of his own company! As simple as that! He worked hard and continued with his weekly routine of buying food for the family, but instead of using up the profit on new clothes and stationery, he saved it for his dream.

Many years passed by, and...

A long while later, after turning 34 years old, his many years of hard work had paid off. 'I've done it!' he thought excitedly to himself. But, unfortunately for him, his grandmother was very, very ill at the time. 'But I must continue to pursue my dream,' he thought determinedly. Undeterred by his grandmother's illness, he set off, into the uncharted wilderness, on his own...

At first, he thought it to be beautiful, but...

Adventuring into the cold and harsh wilderness of the mountain regions, his plan did not deem to be as simple as he had thought as he suffered from starvation, dehydration and had fought against wild brutes such as beargons* and tigerdiles*, and that's not even close to half of it. 'I'm not going to make it,' he thought to himself 'but even if I don't succeed, I have to try.'. But although he was oblivious to it, he was nearing the end of his journey.

He continued to painfully trudge on.

Still unaware of the crucial fact, he gave up and collapsed, thinking to himself 'I would never have succeeded anyway. I was a fool to think that I would ever accomplish such a dream. Not that anyone would care about me when I'm dead anyway...', but he never once thought about his grieving family, waiting for him to come home or even receive a single word from him.

Blood pounding loudly in his ears, he drifted into the darkness of sleep and fell to his knees, unconscious, ignoring the cold frost forming on his eyelids, waiting for death to overcome him and for the residents of hell to take his body, and for them to squeeze out his soul, and to bring torment and suffering to that small, dull and lifeless part of the world.

But it never happened.

Then, he awoke in the midst of the night, his vision blurred from sleep. He jolted awake, remembering where he was. If he didn't light a fire soon, he would die from the cold, in the wilderness, his family oblivious towards his death. He shifted uncomfortably in the snow at the thought. As he began to pick himself off the ground with renewed energy, he winced as his knees buckled underneath him. He tried again...and again...and again, groaning with pain, but all to no avail. 'It's frostbite...this isn't good...' he thought to himself. But he had no other choices of survival. Dragging his body and legs across the snowy ground, collecting dry fire-wood, he shivered at the cold.

After he had eaten a few pignuts* and had warmed himself up beside the fire, strength was starting to return to his limbs. He felt proud of himself as he had uprooted a few hazel saplings and had built a shelter all on his own. After a few more days of scavenging for fruits, berries, nuts and freshly killed carcasses, he started on his way once more.

After a while of eagerly moving onward...

As he began to smell the faint odour of car fumes, hope started to return to him. Monstro city was obviously close-by. He broke into an enthusiastic limp - he still had frostbite - as he neared the beautiful city in its wonderful, wintry days. How excited he was to see the place that he'd been dreaming of going to for so long! He longed to see the progress of his very own business right before him.

As he entered the strange yet wondrous city, he looked around excitedly for a free plot of land to build his business, he saw all of the interesting shops on each street, ranging from Mutant sprouts at the Grossery store* to Warped windows at Bizarre Bazar.

The moment he found a free space of land he jumped with joy as high nearly as the clouds, but then... As he realised the price of the piece of land he paled, walked away, stunned and slumped into a corner. 'I can't pay for this amount of land...' he thought hopelessly. Homeless and jobless, he dragged his suddenly heavy feet sadly along.

A few dull, hopeless days of wandering later...

Walking along, he gained renewed hope as he saw another free plot of land, not nearly large enough to build his business, but big enough to set up a small stall... so he did. He built the stall and called it 'Furi Fashion', selling accessories and clothes from head to toe, from cat hats to blue shoes.

As famous as his stall became, he needed a bigger property to fulfill his childhood desires. He sold his small stall to a trustworthy figure by the name of Kotia at a good price.
