Gideon's POV;

"A what?" I asked incredulous looking at Sofie.We're at my home office.

"A preschool,you know where small children goes".

"I know what a preschool is,Sofie.But Jonah does'nt have to go.We'll hire a private tutor.Besides you're here,you can help him after class."She look hurt.What did I do?

Whatever,what's the point in dropping off Jonah every day to some crappy school everyday,while I have the means to hire private tutors.I don't go to preschool either.I turned out just fine,better even,than most people.Handling a multinational company,as big as "McArthur Internationals" at the age of 29 is pretty impressive.

I'm teached by one of the best tutors till high school.In high school,I went to a "Lawrenceville High School",New Jersey,one of the best and most expensive high school in th e US, which cost around $4900.Where only rich and smart ass students and a few scholarship students were admitted.It was'nt hard be admitted if your family is the benefector of the school for ages.Bieng a smart ass probably helps too.Most people made a mistake of seeing us jocks in Lawrenceville High as dumb,but the truth is we're a smart ass.

"Uhh... Gideon,I know you have the means for a private tutor and all.But I think it will be best for Jonah to be around other children,and interact more with other children,not just you and me or the tutor.He's 3 and half years and its high time he attend a preschool".

Her chest heaved up and down,probably nervous and my eyes were glued to that area where her breasts were clutched by a white fitting sweater.Its the first time I seen her wearing clothes this fitting.Suddenly,an unbidden image of Sofie lying under me,looking at me with desire with a slight hint of shyness flash.My groin twitch slightly at that.That was unexpected and completely unacceptable.

Its only because she reminds of Thea,only because I miss her.I've never had sex after Thea's death,and its only right that I feel something like that,especially when that someone look so much like Thea.Thats it I need a good sex,thats all.But deep down,something nudge me that its not all,something made me strangely curious about Sofie.No,you need a hot sex,thats all.

Collecting my wayward and not so innocent thoughts,I clear my throat "Sofie,I don't see the point in that.Why did he need others when you and tutor will be there for him 24*7."

Again she look hurt,but quickly mask it "If you can choose between a room full of children, and a room full of business associates,which one would you prefer to spend time with?".

A room full of children.That would be hellish,taking care of Jonah is hard enough even with the help of Sofie.On the other hand,a room full of business associates would be a perfect time for hunting business prospects.I know the answer to her question and what she implies right away.Smart woman.

"I don't have to answer that"

"Exactly,you would choose to spend time with your business associates.Just like that,Jonah need to be around children of his age where he'll be more comfortable,not just us." She's adamant.I'll give her that.Well I can be pretty adamant too.

"Its not just that,there are other things to consider"She raised her brows"Like papparazzis and some crazy people who would'nt mind kidnapping a defenseless child for money.They know I had money.And Jonah is an easy target to get some of that."

After 30 minutes of bickering back and forth,each trying to speak some sense into one another.I give up,maybe its the first time I give up When I negotiate business deals,I did't just jump to the prey,I used my brains,plan tactics and strategies.And it always work.The principle "Don't just be a predator,be a smart one like leopards".Looks like a black leopard slips and lose to a white fluffy mere cat.
