Flashback:
Where am I? What am I doing here? Who is with me? I'm scared. Where's my mom? All these things were going through Luke Skywalker's head as he sat up in a dark space. Then it hit him so fast that he would have fell over if he hadn't already been sitting. His family. They left. They left him all alone. Well, not entirely alone. They gave him up to a Sith.
Not that Luke knew what a Sith was. I mean, what four-year-old does? Well, excluding the younglings at the Temple. Luke only knew a Sith was someone very bad.
He started feeling around the pitch-black space, until his hand hit something hard. He moved to the right. Metal. More specifically, metal bars. He was in a cell. A cell somewhere where he didn't know. As he leaned against the hard, cold wall, tears started to roll down his cheeks.
Then before he knew it, the cell door opened and large, calloused, hands grabbed his own, roughly pushing them behind his back. By the time he had fully processed what was going on, he was halfway down a dimly lit hallway. The mysterious person dragged him down the hall until he was pulled in and was forced into a kneeling position.
"Hello Luke," a voice said. He was in a large room with a huge window overlooking Coruscant. The Sith was sitting in a large chair twice the height of the four-year-old. The chair was faced away from Luke, toward the window, as he kneeled in front of it. When the person turned around he could see the Sith was a middle-aged woman, maybe in her 40's, with long, dark, brown hair that reminded Luke of chocolate, and sickening yellow eyes.
"You. You took me from my family! You dirty, no good, murdering piece of-" he started.
"Ah!" she said. Luke immediately shut up. "I am your master now. You, young Skywalker, are my new apprentice."
"You're wrong. My mom and dad will come back for me, they always do." he said with as much hate as a four-year-old can have

But they didn't. And for fifteen years Luke was an Sith apprentice to a Sith Lord who's main goal was to get rid of Anakin Skywalker and the rest of his family and finish the work of her master, Darth Sidious. But he never gave up his hope, Even if he could no longer remember his twin sister's face, his fathers eyes that were always filled with happiness, or his mother's voice as she sang him a lullaby, the memories still stayed engraved in his mind. And one day, he promised himself, they would be reunited. Because the Force was with them. Always.
