TEARS OF THE MOON

Part 1

Hi there readers this is my second attempt at writing a story. Hope this story is as interesting written down as it was in my head.

Yo's P.O.V

I had been in love with P' Pha since high school or so I told myself. The first time I saw him was on the basketball court and for me it was kismet, because I would never go to the courts, my friend Ming had dragged me there to watch the game and since he always did what I asked of him I thought, ' What the heck. why not? '

As I watched the shimmering sweat on his skin my heart would not stop trying to escape from my chest. The movement of his sinewed muscles, caused my breath to hitch, his hair was stuck to his forehead  but it only enhanced his beauty; if you can call a man beautiful, his height everything about him seemed perfect in my eyes. My mouth was dry and I could not speak for a moment, I gulped from the water bottle I'd brought to ease my discomfort. When my speech returned I asked Ming who he was.

" That's P' Phana Kongthanin captain of the basketball team."

My sight was now set on the man who would become my boyfriend, I giggled out loud drawing looks from those around me. I had begun to stalk him whenever I had free time. I got to know much about him, yet the most important thing I would learn by accident.

P' Pha was graduating so I gathered my courage to tell him how I felt about him. I mean if I didn't say anything now I may never get another opportunity. I walked to his classroom after having roamed his usual hangouts and not finding him. Voices could be heard someone said: "What  would you do if a guy confesses to you Pha?"

"Look Bean I know you are bi-sexual and I respect that, but just the thought of me with a man makes my skin crawl. I like women and I like them curvy and big breasted."

I was shocked to hear those words. In all the time I had stalked P'Pha I had never seen him with a girl. He always avoided them at the end of his games, even when they only wanted to give him gifts. When those words sunk in I ran off without looking back, with tears streaming down my face.

Later that night I relayed the events of the day to Ming, he had never liked to see me unhappy, I can say Ming liked to spoil me and I think it's because I had no mom, she passed away when I was younger. 

Ming being Ming told me surely I had misunderstood and I so wanted it to be true, so I gladly accepted this point of view. Although I knew without a shadow of a doubt  that I had not misheard neither did I misunderstand. That night I chose to lie to myself since I was not prepared to let go of P' Pha.

The following school year, I worked hard with Ming as my tutor so that, I would be able to go to the same university as P' Pha. All the hard work paid off, I was off to the institution of learning that the love of my life was attending.

The first person I met when I got to the dorm was a senior who introduced himself as Forth, he was kind enough to give me a helping hand as he saw me struggling with a box I had profess to the workers who'd help me move that I would be able to manage. As luck would have it P' Forth lived on the same floor as I, and only a couple of doors down from my room.

P' Forth said I should not be a stranger and if I needed anything I could knock on his door and as long as he was able he would help. I thought that he was kind and quite handsome, his looks could give P' Pha a run for his money.

I began putting everything in it's place as clutter was one of my pet peeves. I had been working for awhile and was almost done when there was a knock on my door, P' Forth was standing on the other side when I opened. "Nong would you like to get something to eat? I know it's easy to loose track of time when you are trying to get things in order."

I looked at my watch and saw it was already 5:30 pm I had been unpacking for the last couple of hours and had not even realized that. "If you don't mind waiting for a couple of minutes while I change, I would be glad for the company." 

I was alone in this dorm as Ming had not been able to get a placement in the same building as I; also  his family was on vacation out of the country for that reason he would not be joining me until later the following day.

P' Forth took me to a hot pot restaurant, the food was quite good and the company entertaining. During dinner I noticed P'Forth taking furtive glances at me, but every time I raised my head he paid great attention to the food in front of him. I found that rather endearing. 

Forth's P.O.V

The kid sitting in front of me is quite cute, I found myself attracted to him from the moment I saw him this afternoon struggling with that box. while I was in my room after I left him at his door I kept thinking about him. His milky white skin, his small stature, the beautiful way his cupid bow curved upwards when he smiled. I had never been attracted to anyone so soon after meeting them. There we were having dinner and I could not help stealing glances at him, to distract myself I began to ask him questions about himself.

"So Nong, what high school did you graduate from?"

"S High School. was not a great student , but I worked hard during my last year so that I could take the exam for this university."

We kept the conversation going for a while when I realized he'd not told me his name. "Nong, you know you've not told me your name." At that, he blushes prettily and wais, "sorry Phi, I'm Wayo Panichasawad, you can call me Yo."

When he said that I almost spat out my food, I was in the presence of Thai royalty of a sort and did not even know it because he was so down to earth. The few well off people I'd met at this university are so stuck up and here sits someone whose family is so rich they probably could buy those families ten times over and still have money to spare and you wouldn't even know it. 

" What is it that you came here to study?"

"Science, majoring in biology."

As we sat talking over dinner I found myself liking him more and more so much so that I didn't want the evening to end. I hope I get to see more of him, I knew that it would be hard as being a second-year engineering student is very demanding. After dinner, I was in no great hurry to separate from Yo, so I invited him for a walk in the park across the street from the restaurant. After walking around for about a half-hour he asked if we could head back since he still had some unpacking to do.

When we got back to the dorm I was reluctant to see him gone from my sight. I couldn't invite myself in since we'd just met so I hesitantly said good night. " Hope we can do this again Nong."

There was a pretty blush on his cheek when he responded, "  Thanks for making me feel welcome P'Forth, I do hope we can, thanks again."

I watched him enter his room, then left for mine.
