Author’s Note: Wow. I REALLY fucked the dates up haha. Fail on my part. Once again, worried more about my characters than getting my facts straight. I’m such a bad fan. Oh wellsies! We’ll just write it my way then. Not historically-accurate. This is just a short filler chapter that needed to be written but couldn’t really be worked into anywhere else. It’s the last chapter in Nikki’s perspective for now. Time to meet some new characters!!

Nikki; Summer 2011

Step it up,

Get in gear.

“Louis. I can’t accept that you’re leaving me all summer. What will I do without you?”

“Well, Nikki. Here’s the thing. You might not have to be without me.” I put down his iPad and looked at him.

“Explain Tommo.”

“Well, I’ve talked with your mum.”

“Oh god. This can’t be good.”

“No, it’s actually very good. I have a proposition. I know that we only officially came out as a couple in April, so if it’s too soon, I totally understand. But I thought that maybe, since the lads and I are going on tour in America this summer, that you could come with us. I could arrange a private tutor for you so that you could finish up school, and go to Uni in America in the fall. That way we could be together, and you could be rid of Ethan. You wouldn’t have to come back here, and we could start our lives together.”

“And my mother agreed to this?” I asked in disbelief. My mother was very old-school. I didn’t even have the courage to tell her I’d been staying at Louis’ house, because I knew she wouldn’t let me. And now she was willing to let me leave school and go to a foreign country with him?

“She was actually thrilled with the idea of you finishing school early and going to college in America. I was surprised too.”

“Wow. Go mom.”

“So? Nikki, will you go to America with me?”

“Yes, Louis. I will go to America with you.”
