Oh hey everybody! *dodges missles from angry people* I KNOW i haven't been on in a long time, but stuff happened. School happened. Homework happened. Evil teachers from hell happened. So anyway, I had a bit of a hard time deciding wether or not I should put this up because it's kind of sad. But I decided to anyway. This kind of gives you a reminder that just because there are heroes, doesn't mean there life is great. Enjoy oh and COMMENT I need to know what you guys think!!!!!! Thanks =)

Jason was waiting. He had been waiting for a long time. Scratch that, an extremely long time, for this Argo II to be built. They were still a few months away from completing it, but come on! This whole thing seemed like an eternity! He spun around in his wheeled chair inside bunker nine, his second cabin, if you will, for what seemed like the millionth time. He threw his head back in defeat. Okay, if he was going to entertain himself, then there was only one thing to do. And gods help him; that was to go to the only person who he could think of to help him cheer up. Jason stopped outside of the Hephaestus cabin and knocked on the door, but there was no answer. Most of the Cabin 9 kids were supposed to be out at combat training, but Leo had gotten some time off to work on his plans for the Argo II. Jason banged on the door again, this time, even louder.

“Leo?” He called. But still, there was no answer. He noticed that the door wasn’t closed all the way, so he gingerly pushed it open. “Are you in here? Hello?” He exaggerated the “o” as he finally got the door open all the way. What he expected to see was Leo half asleep at his desk with a pencil in his hand and blueprints in front of him. But, again, what he expected, never really happened. Jason saw papers strewn across the floor and tools everywhere. Ok, so this cabin wasn’t always the neatest, but this looked different. It made Jason know something wasn’t right. A table was overturned and…was that a screwdriver sticking out of the wall?

“Okay, Leo, not funny. I know what you’re doing, so knock it off,” Jason said with edge in his voice. No one responded. He maneuvered around a few nails sticking out of the ground until he was able to see light coming through the window. Wait a second, broken window, with…what was that? Jason strained his eyes as he moved closer and felt the hairs on the back of his neck prick when he saw blood smeared on some of the glass. Shards of it were on the floor. Something was very wrong.

“Leo!” Jason called out frantically. He searched the entire cabin, but no Leo. He sprinted out the front door and down the cobblestone path toward Bunker 9. Maybe he could’ve doubled back there, Jason thought. The tress blurred in his peripheral vision as he careened around boulders and roots. He tore open the doors to find…nothing. It was the same as he had left it. Ok, now he started to panic. Where else would Leo have gone? Jason ran back towards the main house and searched the archery range, fields, and the edge of the woods, but found no sign as to where his friend might be. His mind started racing. As he began to make his way towards the outskirts of the forest, he passed the beach, and when he did, he heard a slight sound. He stopped his feet from taking him any further and listened. There it was again! It sounded like a-whimper? He ran towards the beach, but slowed down when he heard a lighter sound.

“ Tú eres mi sol. Mi único sol”. It sounded like someone was singing. Jason inched a bit closer toward the sand, but halted when he saw someone sitting almost directly in front of him. He hid behind one of the few scattered trees and continued to listen: “Me haces feliz cuando el cielo está gris”. Jason felt his eyes widen. On the beach was Leo, sitting with his arms wrapped around his knees, which were tucked into his chest. “Nunca se sabe madre, cuánto Te amo”. Had he been here all this time? More importantly, why was he here of all places. Jason watched as Leo looked out at the ocean and finished: “Así que por favor no te lleves mi sol”. The song ended and Jason took the opportunity to show his self.
