"Guys, please welcome the newest addition to our team, Ace!" I zoomed onto the ice in front of 5 guys, they had no idea I was a girl yet. I did a few tricks and by the time I reached them, they were cheering. I took off my helmet and their jaws dropped.
"Hey, I'm Ainsley, call me Ace."
"Woah! Your a girl!" #2 spoke up.
"Yep, I've noticed"
"You have skill!" #5 shouted.
"That's kind of why I'm on the team, if I wasn't, I would be on a girls team. Am I? No. Anyway, don't be afraid to push me around a little, I'm tough, I can take it." They just nodded, still stunned.
"Alright guys, hit the showers." They walked slowly to their locker room while I walked to my own seperate one.
I dressed out of my uniform, I was #3, and dressed into my black skinny jeans and Motley Crue T-Shirt. I walked out and the guy I recognized as #6 walked up to me. He was cute.
He had shoulder length black hair and icy blue eyes. His skin was pale and he was pretty damn tall.
"Hey, I'm Andy" Man, his voice was deep and gravely.
"Hey, Ace"
"You like Motley Crue?"
"Hell yeah! They're awesome!"
"Haha, finnaly I'm not the only one on this team who likes them"
"BIERSACK! Time to go!" Coach called and Andy cursed under his breath.
"Here, I gotta go, take my number, text me sometime" He said, handing me a slip of paper and jogging out with his bag on his shoulder.
The next week, I had my first actual practice. After, the coach came up to me.
"You did pretty good out there today, would you be up for the game on Saturday or do you wanna wait a little longer?"
"I think I'm ready for the game."
"Okay, Biersack!"
"Yes coach?" Andy jogged over here.
"I want you to work really hard these 2 days on preparing her for the game. Spend some time with her, teach her some techniques and tricks."
"Will do coach" He left us and Andy smiled, a killer smile I might add. "So, I'll see you here tomorrow?"
"Definatley"
"Normal practice time alright?"
"Got it"
"Andy!" I looked and saw a woman calling him.
"Follow me" He said and dragged me over. "Mom, this is Ainsley or Ace, coach is having me help her for the game on Saturday."
"Alright then, nice to meet you Ainsley"
"You to Mrs. Biersack" They left and Andy texted me.
Andy~ Hey ;)
Ace~ Hey :)
Andy~ So, we can pick u up tomorrow...
Ace~ Okay, I'll tell my mom, thanks
Andy~ No problem
Just then my mom came up to me.
"Hey sweety, ready to go?" I nodded and picked up my bag.
"Mom, coach told one of the guys on the team to help me prepare for the game so he's going to pick me up and take me to the rink."
"Alright" I texted Andy and gave him my address.
