The Marine And the Pirate { Akainu Sakazuki X OC

Part 1: The beginning of something new

Arabella Scarlett was leaning on the main ship of her fleet within the New World, her pale blonde hair working it's way through the breeze while releasing a soft gentle sigh. One single blue eye opened staring ahead while humming softly, the sounds echoing across her fleet of ships. The Black Rose Pirates had become a massive problem over time the woman's bounty quite high while relaxing on the ship, her eyes closing once again to enjoy the fresh air and current piece she had at the moment with no Marines around

Akainu Sakazuki, stood at the very front of the newly recruits, watching as they trained, this, he reminded himself was going to be the start of a new world. A world where no pirates existed, a world where justice would be served. Sighing inwardly at the thought of pirate scum made his facial features distort into that of disgust. The male crossed his relatively big arms over his chest, and watched as they trained, "When they are finished," He said to his second in command currently standing next to him. "We leave at once. We will not let another day go by with pirate scum still living. Especially the one with the highest bounty on her head." His voice was rough, and his features were well toned and sharp in some places. Giving a nod to his second in command in dismissal. He walked away.

Whistling softly to herself which still echoed across the way, the blonde woman slowly made her move to stand, her heeled feet moving her frame slowly towards the edge of her ship. Leaning her arms crossed on the large railing her violet eyes focused upon the horizon, her expression currently  blank while the 26 year old woman, who was half the admiral's age let herself breath slightly, knowing within her gut that a storm was about to brew. Scarlett didn't know why but she felt it deep within her bones and she hated the feeling when one of her other ships began to call over saying they think they spotted some Marine Warships on the horizon.

It was much later than what the Admiral would have wanted, but as the recruits finally finished their training, they boarded the Marine base ship, setting course for the fleet of Black Rose pirate ships, or at least one of their ships. The main ship was the main focus upon this mission and he would not fail to capture the blonde pirate. Not only was it him and his crew, but he had a few more ships sailing behind him, all holding as much as 100 to 150 Marines, the disgust he felt as he thought of the pirates was successful in ruining his mood further, but the fact that he was going to bring hell upon them also lightened his mood. Shouting orders to the ship navigator and the ones on the other ship with them being in close proximity to hear his booming voice. He ordered them to advance towards the ships surrounding the middle one, the one he discerned was the heart of them which would be the one, he, himself would attack.

Standing completely straight noticing the Marine Ships surrounding them, The blonde cursed her luck for being far to close to the Marine Base for her own comfort and noting how he under her breath managed to figure out which one was her main ship. Scarlett started to bark orders, her hand reaching back to draw one of her two sharp rapiers from their sheath at her hip, while she held the sword in her right hand. Most of her crew was normal some were devil fruit users in their own right. She had a Devil Fruit herself, but the female had a secret that she didn't even tell her own crew.  Her hand extending out causing several marines to suddenly collapse from stilled hearts allowing the marines to fall around the older male, who stood staring at her with fire in his eyes. The marines and those that had managed to board her ship were fierce in fighting but they knew that the Black Rose Pirates were very strong. After all this was the new world and anything could happen and strength was important.

The man shifted drawing back with a fist, magma dripping drown from his clenched fist, knowing that the odds were against him since she was dual sword wielder, he decided he'd just take the females swords  as a trophy after slaying all the pirate scum in the area. Continuously shouting orders at his men only to find out that the one surrounding him fell to the ground, he her cursed under his breath at himself for not knowing of  Scarlett's  abilities, but also at his second command who failed at his own job, fortunately for him, he was strong enough to fight against the Pirate Captain on his own. Never being the type to back down from a fight, to erase the pirate scum from the world, he held his chin high and got into battle stance, racking at his brain to find ways on how he would escape if need be, alive for a good start, but he was willing to lay down his life if needed. 

" I am surprised Sakazuki-san..The Magma human himself came to pay me a visit and he doesn't even use his powers yet against me and my crew..are you that scared of me?" She called in a lovely enchanting voice, her voice was lithe with an accent he couldn't quite place, while fighting and killing his men with ease that shocked him, Sakazuki  was surprised that she could fight as well as she could, her heels moving across the wooden floor of her ship with one eye on him, so she could withstand any attack that he might  throw her way. Her other eye focused on the Marines attacking around her while her left hand rose controlling their bodies and forcing them to attack the others before killing them herself.

The male snorted in disgust but also amusement, "Who says I need to use my powers to defeat pirate scum? Would you be delighted in fighting me one and one? No powers used?" He smiled deviously "I doubt you even know how to fight with those powers of yours." At this point he was simply mocking her but also observing his surroundings, aware of her massive crew and his that still fell all around him. If he had to he could take out her crew easily with his devil fruit, but her. The woman before him, he'd take his sweet time with her. Luckily this was not a full strong fleet, simply a few ships with powerful foes but it still held a pretty impressive amount of pirates under one flag. He could almost say in a laughing matter that she could easily rival one of the four Yonko's and that was a laugh to him. "Perhaps.. You're scared of me,  Scarlett-San?" He called out in a booming but confident voice, relaxing his stance, his dark hazel eyes stared directly into her own violet orbs.

Giving a small smirk, her tongue came out to lick at  her lips slightly, Sakazuki could almost feel his heart still just that movement but for some reason it turned him on. But he would not show how much a single woman, let along a pirate of her type could affect a man such as him. " How you underestimate me, dear Sakazuki-Sama." She replied back, her feet moving to jump from her ship to his own, watching as her body  shifted swinging her heeled foot suddenly to aim for his face. Letting her Haki coat her right leg before it swung fully towards his body, Standing at only 6'3 even in her stiletto heels she was still only half his height so being short and slim enough it gave her a slight advantage, she could easily dance around him with little effort.. "What's wrong Sakazuki, are you scared of me now that I am here? Or is there something you are not telling me?" The female asked gently. Her eyes watching as they stood some feet apart after some fighting. His fingers shifting slightly against his side. 

He wondered for just a moment how he could even tell someone like her how he felt but he wouldn't, he would keep fighting for the Marines he would do everything in his power to get what he wanted.  The male couldn't deny the feelings that seemed to want to bubble up to the surface but for some reason he worked to push that down far enough that it would not affect what he had to do.
