Leopard was on guard for the IceWing Nursery, she was only in the fifth circle so the eggs were of commoners or citizens. Not royalty. Leopard stood outside of the nursery, another IceWing was stood erect besides her, as still as frozen statue. He stared off to space, he casually took glances at Leopard to see if she was doing fine, or to see if she was in the correct guard position. The IceWing's name was North, he was a fourth circle he was originally in the third circle but got downgraded for snapping at the very bratty prince, Iceberg. Leopard hated standing in the proper guard position, head up, wings down, tail perfect, it was painful. Leopard would quickly snap into position when he looked at her, she would slouched her stance when he wasn't looking, Leopard here a small crrracckk. "did you hear that" she said, her voice almost a whisper cccracck North's eyes seemed to flicker, he's blue eyes shined with worry. Leopard swung her head back into the nursery on the far, far, far corner was a Moon silver egg with cracks forming along the egg. "that's Walrus's and Sapphire's egg" Leopard mumbled, they were both very poor dragons, but very stern "I'll go get them" North quickly announced, he soon flew off to go get the very lucky dragons. Leopard carefully started walking towards the hatching eggs, carful not to hit any other eggs with her whip thin tail. By the time Leopard was right by the egg a small talon and poking out of the egg, then it shattered into a billon little pieces. Leopard couldn't help but let out a "awwww" the small, no that was a understatement, tiny, Hatchling looked at the IceWing with wide blue eyes, Leopard stuck out her talon, to touch the tiny dragonet's head, but at first contact leopard pulled away with a yelp. The dragonet was colder than anything she felt before her scales were like they were frozen. It's nothing Leopard thought, but to be safe Leopard didn't touch the dragonet until the parents came back. This dragonet looked odd, her veins had seemed to show, electric blue was the color of her veins, it made her pure white scales look like they were striped. But leopard had seen Icewings with odd colors and markings. So she was no exception, at all. "there's my strong dragonet" Leopard assumed that was Walrus, it was a strong male voice, Sapphire had a loud famine voice, and North had a quieter voice. Walrus and sapphire both brushed path Leopard, "hm, very pretty" Sapphire purred, Sapphire was remarkable pretty for a low life sixth circle. "seems strong already" Walrus was circling the Dragonet his eyes scanning every feature she had, the dragonet had pure white scales and horns with dark icy blue eyes and electric blue veins, her horns were sharp and claws deadly. Walrus brushed his tail across her back, he let out a painful-to-hear-because-leopard-is-to-empathic-and-that-it-seemed-to shake-the-ground roar. The whipped his tail back, Sapphire let out a horrified Gasp while North and leopard both stared with their eyes widened and jaws on the floor, Walrus's tail was covered in a fresh coat of frost that from the way he roared it was burning from how cold it was. "oh Seal guts!" Sapphire screeched. "we have to take this thing to the Queen" North growled, North picked up a Convenient Polar bear rug and wrapped the tiny dragonet in the warm fur, he tossed it to Leopard why me Leopard thought miserably. It was still freezing but not freezing, freezing not creating a frost on claws. Leopard carried the Dragonet and flew the dragonet all the way to the palace, the palace was a perfectly sculptured ice palace, it shimmered like stars in the sun, no matter what it will never melt. Leopard carefully carried the small dragonet trying not to drop her, the dragonet just stared at Leopard,a sence of worry and curiosity was filled in her dark blue eyes. Soon they made It into throne room where the queen evergreen stood, her eyes disapproving. Besides the queen was her royal advisor, he was called Owl 'He was not much of a prick unlike other said', says all the scrolls he made. "what is it" Everest yawned, leopard dropt the freezing on the floor with the odd looking dragonet, the dragonet was sitting down staring at the queen, well more of her jewelry. Everest loved wearing diamonds, she had diamond necklaces, Diamond earrings, Diamond bracelets, and anything you could imagine. "shiny" the creature mumbled in amazement, "Is this for a name, Borealis would suit her fine" Everest leaned into the dragonet, the dragonet started mumbling the word trying to pronounce it "Bor-boalies-lies-Borealis" "Your majesty don't touch her" North warned, Everest raised a eyebrow "why" she asked. As soon as she said the words she placed her talons on the little dragonet's head until her talons froze over, it took her a while to rip her talons of the dragonets head when did she examined her hand, leopard was frozen in place as if the dragonet froze her. "throw it in the ocean" Owl shrieked, Everest just simply stared at her frozen talon, North snatched the bear fur and wrapped Borealis in it and carried it in his arms "what are we waiting for" Leopard was realized what he meant "let's go throw this thing in the ocean".

The water was still, not a ripple in the water North held the polar bear rug with Borealis in it, "any last words" North sneered, Borealis gave a giggle and started jumping around aww, wait I shouldn't be awing at monsters Leopard thought guilty. "I thought she was going to be perfect" Sapphire sighed. "what a disappointment" walrus mumbled. North cracked some of Ice covering the water, then he dropped the dragonet into the freezing. Leopard wanted to dive into the water and snatch the dragonet from the freezing water and hold her close, but she would freeze to death if she did. North quickly used his frost breath on the water so Borealis would stay under water. "it's done" Walrus said, Leopard started at the ice staying there until the other left, with a quick jab the ice shattered leaving a hole, there drifted a ice cube with Borealis, that could have preserved her, it could have saved her life, breaking the ice would reveal a living Dragonet with frostscales. Leopard would only have to find out...
