Malec 'only love can hurt like this' ✨

Part 1- just listen

Alec lays in bed in his clothes from the day before as his boyfriend Luke didn't give him time to change before pushing Alec in the bed and bruising his cheek.

Alec wakes up before Luke and gets out of bed as he hears Luke waking up 'OI where you going?'. Alec jumps in fright and turns to him 'I'm going out I told you last night'. 'No you didn't, make us a tea' Luke sits up now as Alec looks away 'no'. Luke jumps out of bed as he grabs Alec by the hair pulling his head back as it rests on his chest 'what did you say?'. Alec closes his eyes 'I'm sorry, il make you one'. But before Alec knows it he's thrown on the bed with force as he tries to move Luke grabs his wrists tight as Alec gets red marks forming round them he sits on Alec as he struggles to move 'I thought you loved me Alec' Alec looks at him 'I do, I do love you, I just don't understand why you do this'.

Luke leans down as he gives Alec kisses on his lips and bites Alec's lip hard forming a bruise 'pull your top down where your shoulder is now!' Luke demands as Alec shreds tears and does as he's told while shaking he gets off Alec pulling him up and pushes him towards the door 'get to work you mess'

And so Alec does as he walks into the coffee shop where he works 'oh hey Alec' Amanda his boss says as he smiles back.

Luke starts off in the kitchen tidying as he grabs Alec's bottle of juice and fills it a bit with some washing up liquid and then shakes it.

6:45 pm: as Alec finishes his shift and shoves his £40 of pay in his pocket as he walks back home.

6:55 pm: Alec walks into the apartment as he's greeted by Luke 'hey babe, listen I'm sorry about the morning I really am'. Alec looks at him as he walks to the sofa 'Alec please, forgive me please' As Alec smiles at him he gestures for Luke to come sit by him as he stands behind Alec leaning over the sofa 'did you have a good day at work?' Luke says from behind as he shoves a hand into Alec's jeans pocket for his wallet as he gets the £40 out and throws it on the table.

'Ok so now how would you like to spend tonight?'. He says as Alec turns to him 'actually I'm tired' Alec stands up and makes his way towards the kitchen as Luke follows and wraps his arms around his waist from behind and kisses Alec's neck lightly 'if your thirsty your juice is just in there'. Alec nods as Luke gets it out the fridge and puts it in-front of Alec 'go on drink it ,I've added extra fruit juice'

'No I'm fine honestly' ,Luke swings Alec round as he faces him 'I SAID DRINK IT!' Alec jumps again with scare as he goes to walk away Luke grabs him by the neck as he turns facing Alec and kicks him hard in the stomach as Alec screams in pain 'Your a useless piece of shit' Alec gets more tears as he goes to wipe them Luke grabs Alec by the arm this time pushing him in the bathroom as he locks the door behind.

'This is what happens when you don't listen baby' Luke starts running the sink tap as Alec struggles to stand Luke walks back to him and cups his cheek as he pulls Alec in for a deep long kiss Alec tries to pull away but Luke grabs him by the t shirt and stops kissing for a moment as he turns the tap off.

The next day 3:34pm: a young man walks into the coffee shop 'hi can I get two latte's please and you to join me gorgeous'. Alec looks up at him 'pretty bad bruises you got there'. Alec smiles at him weakly 'that will be £4.80 please' the man hands his money over as his fingers brush Alec's and Alec quickly moves his hand as the man notices 'Alexander is it?, I'm Magnus' Amanda comes out as she hugs Magnus 'long time no see'. 'It is indeed I was just speaking to Alexander here ,if he wanted join tables with me'

Amanda nods 'yeah Alec your due break now anyway' she smiles at him as he weakly smiles back and makes his way over as he sits at a two seater table with Magnus as Amanda goes behind the counter 'so have you worked here long?'. 'Umm erm a week and 2 days'. Magnus notices the non eye contact 'and do you live round here?' As Alec goes to answer he sees his boyfriend walk in to the coffee shop 'Hey babe' Alec turns to Luke as he leans a hand out as Alec takes it. 'Made a friend I see' Luke smiles at Magnus as he follows them both out the back.

Magnus gets outside to see Alec leaning against a wall with Luke and his hands around Alec's neck kissing him ,as Luke whispers 'just act normal forgod sake ugly' Magnus gets his phone out and finishes drinking his latte as he keeps looking at the couple ,Alec puts his hands lightly on Luke's waist and Magnus can't help but notice how uncomfortable Alec looks

Luke stops kissing him as he goes to Alec's neck kissing there as Alec moves his arms up-to Luke's back his sleeves fall back revealing dark bruises as Magnus glares at him Alec turns his head away 'time for me to go' Alec sighs in relief as Luke grabs a tight hold around Alec's wrist again walking passed Magnus 'going already are we?' Luke turns and smiles at him as Magnus eyes drop to the hand wrapping Alec's wrist then his eyes as Luke pulls them inside.
