Everlee waited inside the limo for her mother to return from the hotel. She's spent the night there after her mother had been invited to her friends wedding. Bored, she drew circles on the windows of the limo.

It's not like Everlee wasn't used to this already. She always had free time on her hands. She was the daughter of the wealthy Vanessa La Sandrés, owner of La Sandrés Fashion Inc. Everlee had servants waiting on their hands and needs at all times.

Her mother made Everlee one of their #1 models at LSF. It made sense, since #1, Everlee was her daughter, and #2, Everlee was extremely photogenic and had a unique figure.

Finally, Vanessa La Sandrés emerged from the golden doors of her personal hotel, a phone held to the side of her face as usual as men in black suits walked closely beside her.

One of the men opened the limo door and let Vanessa in, the wind flowing through the open door until the man shut it closed.

"Mom," Everlee tried to get her attention, but her mother held a finger up to her lip, motioning for Everlee to shut up.

"Yes, yes," Vanessa talked through the phone. She pulled out a pink notepad from her pocket and a gel pen and started scribbling down notes. "This deal will definitely spread awareness for the LSF." She pulled the note out of the notepad and threw it at the servant beside her. "Definitely, of course. Oh - Hollywood? Today? Yes, my daughter Everlee and I will fly in right away."

Vanessa put down the phone and motioned at the driver. "New York airport. Chris, have a private jet booked for 1:00 P.M today."

Chris looked up after tapping on his tablet a couple times. "Miss Sandrés, unfortunately the private jet is still being fixed from the last trip."

"Then book a plane, first class. We have to rush to Hollywood for another fashion shoot," Vanessa said quickly, obviously sounding stressed. "You won't mind another shoot, would you Everlee, darling?"

"Actually-" Everlee started, but her mother shushed her.

"Of course you will Everlee. Driver, let's go! I have to be there by 1:00. Oh, and Chris, have our luggage express shipped to a hotel in Hollywood. Make sure it's 5 star!"

Everlee was used to being ignored by her mother. It happened every day of her life.
