That same night, 9:21pm.

Marinette was sketching in her sketch book, under a little lamp at her desk. The room was silent so every time her pencil glided across the page it made a light scraping sound. She stuck her tongue out, pressing her teeth gently on it in concentration.

Her phone suddenly started going off. It was on charge on her desk beside the computer. The ringtone was a song that Adrien played once at a school fair. Marinette fancied the song a lot, it was upbeat and fun. Like Marinette.

She stood from her chair, abandoning the pencil and book.

She clasped the phone in her hand, grinning. The contact ID read: Adrien🍌
She pressed answer and held the phone up to her ear. "Hello~?" She sang.

"Good evening, my fine blueberry." Adrien said poshly, laughing afterwards.
"Guess what?" Marinette said. Earning a small but excited 'what'.
"I'm drawing a sketch and you can't see it." She mocked, Adrien whining.

"But marinettttttttttt— oh wait! I watched this really cool anime about this girl, who had a crush on this dude, and he liked her back and they ended up dating but never kissed until like three months because she wanted her first kiss to Special." Adrien started blabbering about this cool anime, spoiling the best scenes.

"To be honest I can relate." Marinette butted in. "Wha?" Adrien asked, cocking his head even though Marinette couldn't see it.

"I want my first kiss to be special." She admitted, blushing.
"I'd want it to be something I could remember." She finished.

Adrien sat in awe, "wait, so you've never kissed a guy?" He asked. "I've kissed my Cat named Dave when I was four. He died though." She said, disappointed.

Adrien chuckled, "Don't Worry. I haven't kissed a girl either. " he said sheepishly.
Marinette's jaw dropped. "But you're the Adrien Agreste! You'd think you'd at least kiss one girl."

"Meh," Adrien shrugged. "I don't want someone who'll only love me for looks, money, or position." He replied. Marinette smiled. "You want someone who'll you'll be serious with a possibly spend your life with, huh?" She asked.

Adrien hummed. "Bin- to the go." He joked, they both laughed.

"Hey, Blueberry?" Adrien asked, hesitantly. "Yush, Banana?"

"I-I was wondering if you'd like to go on a d-d-d-date with me?" He squeaked. "A-AS FRIENDS I MEAN!"

"Of course I will, Banana." She said Cooley, but actually blushing and trying to not scream.

"I'm gonna hang up now," she stated. "Start planning that date mr. Banana."

Beep, beep, beep.

The line went dead. Adrien breathed a sigh of relief, "ah, she said yes." He smiled.
