The Twisted Bet

                                                                            ~Rachel's POV~        

     "Joey am I like nothing to you, why is it that each I see you in the hallway your always with that girl? Didn't you say you will only love me and me only?" I shouted with tears slowly dripping down my face.

     "Your just overreacting. She is only my friend from class. Think whatever you want I won't stop you,anyways I'm going to class, see you later."Joey said like nothing was wrong then he started walking down the hall. I stood there watching him disappear into the crowd. After a few minutes I walked to class like nothing happened. My best friend Sarah was sitting in the seat next to mine. She was wearing a neon blue dress and had two red bows tied to her pigtails. She had a small LV bag on her lap and had a pair of dark blue 2inch high heels on. 

     "Rachel what happened? You look sad." Sarah asked putting her bag aside as I got to my seat. I shifted my seat toward her and sat down.

     "I think that he might be cheating on me for that Yuki girl in his French class. He's like always with her now and he barley talks to me now he doesn't even say hi to me when he sees me in the hall." I cried Sarah was about to speak but Mr. Dickson walked into the classroom and told everyone there was a pop quiz, when everybody is done you guys may leave. When everyone was half way through the quiz Andrew busted into the classroom blasting his music through his headphones, and his saggy jeans look like their about to fall off anytime now. He walked in and sat in the first seat next to the door where no one was willing to sit. then he tossed his plain black north-face book bag on the desk and stared at Mr. Dickson.

     "Andrew   why are you so late for class?" Mr. Dickson shouted at Andrew in front of the class for the first time. Everyone paused and stared at Andrew and Mr. Dickson. "Everyone continue working and mind your own business!" then Mr. Dickson pulled Andrew out to the hall. The whole class started chatting about what might happen. A few seconds later after Andrew came back into the class room the bell rang. Everyone rushed out of the classroom at once, and like always since Andrew and Sarah are going out the minute they were outside thee class they started making out. So I went on the other side looking around the hall like I don't know them. All of a sudden I saw Joey and Yuki walking down the hallway holding hands, she glanced at me and gave me a smirk. Then she gave Joey a kiss on the cheek then continued walking Sarah was staring at him in shock then looked at me. I pretended I didn't see anything and pretended I was opening the locked behind me.

     "They are gone now did you know about this from the beginning or did you just find out that his is cheating on you for the school's number 1 SLUT!" Sarah asked in shock. Andrew tried pulling her away and telling her to stay shut. But I know that when Sarah asks a question she expects an answer or she wont drop it.

     "I didn't know about it till now i just thought that they were just very close friends. I asked him this morning and he even said that so I trusted him."

     "SO YOU KNEW THAT IT WAS SUSPICIOUS SINCE THE BEGINNING YET YOU JUST WATCHED HIM GET TAKEN AWAY! ARE YOU REALLY THIS RETARDED !"

     "He told me to believe him and that she was only like a little sister to him" I cried

     "So you believed his stupid lies like he was the only thing left? And now look do you see what GREAT friends they are? Do you like not have a brain wake up already this isn't what friends do! OK?"

     " I can't believe him he is my boyfriend and we have been together for 2 years. We never lied to each other this is the first time!" I said still not believing that what just happened was true. Andrew dragged Sarah away before she slapped me, and walked to their next class. I just wondered around since i didn't have class next. All of a sudden I bumped into a tall guy in the hall and I fell back. He grabbed my wrist just in time before i fell down. "Oh uh s--sorry"i stuttered while getting myself together. Will helping him pick up the papers he dropped from saving me from the fall.

     "Sorry did I hurt your wrist? I'm really sorry are you okay?" he asked whipping the tear that escaped my eyes without me even knowing. "My name is Jackie. I'm a sophomore here." he introduced himself in a soft and sweet tone. While I just spaced out staring at how cute he was. 

     "I'm uh R--Rachel. I'm a sophomore too." I said I felt like i blushed a little. "And umm no you didn't hurt my wrist, my eyes are just dried. I'm really sorry for bumping into you I wasn't paying attention to where I was going."

     "It's okay what class you have I'll walk you?" he said taking my bag from my hand.

     "Oh uh I don't have class. I was just heading to the library. To do my homework for my next class."

     "Really I don't have class either I'll walk you. Since I don't really have much to do I'll keep you company. If it's okay with you."

     "Ugh I guess? If you want to." I shrugged then we started walking towards the library, till a bunch of people came out of nowhere  and told him they needed help from him carry stuff to the fourth floor, since we were on the first floor and they didn't have enough people.

     "Be right back I'm going to help them out real quick" he started walking then he turned around and looked at me and said "By the way did I tell you, your really cute?" he smiled then continued walking. I felt like my heart skipped a beat. And I kinda didn't care or remember about  what Joey did to me. Cause of Jackie and that there was actually others that cared about me.
