CHAPTER 16
Skyler slowly awoke by the sound of a smooth humming noise. She slowly opened her eyes to a morning dawn light. She then looked down at her herself as she noticed her strange body position. She wore sweatpants and a SF state university sweatshirt. She then looked up and noticed her mother sitting next to her in the driver's seat drinking coffee out of a thermostat. She looked outward to the road and noticed a long straight flat highway with small ranches on the right and left of the road. That was right; she left for L.A the night before.
She then sat up and stretched by raising her arms up above her and yawned. Skyler's mother then caught her of guard,
“Morning Sky.”
Skyler then looked back at her mother and smiled.
“Morning mom.”
She then leaned back on her seat and sighed. She then looked out the window of the passenger side and tried to recall the night before. Suddenly the picture of John's red devilish eyes scared her. She then looked down at her hands and tried hard to hold back her tears. Now she knew it wasn't a dream, everything that happened the night before was real, and now she had to face a knew city where she might experience the same thing, only much worse if the rest of them hear that Skyler was moving to L.A.

“Skyler you alright?” said Vitcus as Skyler looked up at him with sad eyes and tears filling up in her eyelids again.
“I'm really sorry.” said Vitcus as Skyler placed her head on his shoulder where he then held her tightly.
Jasmine looked back at then as she then placed her crystal flask back inside her shirt. She then looked back to where John and the girl had just stood and noticed something on the ground. She then walked up to it and picked up a small blue stone. She then looked back at Skyler in shock. She then ran up to Skyler and Vitcus as she placed the stone in her pocket.
“We have to go. It's only a matter of time that Judas finds his way back.”
Skyler then looked up Jasmine and whipped her tears away.
“Judas?” asked Skyler with a confused look.
“That's John's real name as an E.D.”
“E.D?” Jasmine sighed as she placed her hands on Skyler's shoulders.
“Listen carefully, Skyler you are in much danger right now. Although you might not think you aren't, you are. John is out to find a way to get you back and he won't do it alone. Those kids who were just with him are familiars. You do know what those are don't you.”
Skyler nodded as she then looked down at the ground and said,
“Familiars are the servants of magicians or any with supernatural powers. But they're normally in a form of animal, those kids were, well kids.”
