Narrators POV

A few weeks have passed and Emma is now comfortable calling her parent's Mom & Dad, she still has panic attacks every once in a while. Everything is almost perfect, but one of the only problems is that Walsh is still free, no one knows where he could be at. 

August is living happily with Geppetto, he has his family back as well. 

Graham hired Emma and David as deputies. He has been head over heels in love with Emma since the first time he laid eyes on her but never said anything because she was 'married', but what he doesn't know is that she feels the same way. He decided he was finally going to tell her, but he was diagnosed with a heart condition. His heart condition is unpredictable, he could survive for 10 more years or 10 more minutes. Unpredictable. 

Regina has been doing everything she can for the townspeople to forgive her. Archie has already forgiven her, he's currently seeing her as a patient. Snow and Charming are having a hard time forgiving her, because of everything that happened to Emma, growing up without parents and what happened with Walsh, all of it. Emma has forgiven Regina, they are working their way to a pretty decent friendship, Henry and Regina have actually grown quite close as well. August has forgiven her as well, but not Geppetto. Believe it or not, Regina Mills, previously known as the evil queen, has found love, Robin Locksley.

Emma has been careful about not letting anyone find out about what Walsh did her her. She adamantly told her parents that no one is to find out about what she told them, especially August. She knows him very well and she knows that August will blame himself, but she doesn't blame him at all. 

Emma's POV 

Graham has been acting weird lately, I don't know what's going on with him. He probably has a new girlfriend or something... I mean, I'm not jealous, but... never-mind. I'm getting ready to leave when my dad gets home. "Hey dad!"

"Hey Em. I uh... I have a question for you" I give him a look telling him to continue. "Graham said that you suggested that we work separate shifts, is that true?" He has such a big mouth. 

"Yeah... But not because I don't enjoy spending time with you... It's just that you can be a little..." I cut myself off and looked to my mom for help. "Mom, a little help?"

"You're on your own with this one" she told me smiling, I think she was actually enjoying this. 

"I can be a little what?" He asked us defensively. 

"You tend to be a little overbearing, and well really overprotective and you never let me respond to calls alone"

"What? I am not!" He said defensively, he sounded like a little kid.

I look at my mom and she gives in. "Charming, I love you... But Emma's right" he gave us both a shocked look.

"I gotta go you guys, love you" I walk over and kiss them both on the cheek. "Henry should be back from Grace's house in an hour, so just watch the time" my mom nodded and my dad still looked shocked. "Dad..." No response, so I work my charm and hug him, he can't refuse a hug from his daughter, so he hugs back, probably expecting a sincere apology. "Sorry dad, I know the truth hurts" I say smiling and before he can respond I'm out of the door and on my way to the station. 

I walk in and see Graham working on something, but when he sees me, he shoves it back in his desk. "Hey Emma. How was your day?"

I ignore how suspicious he's acting and respond. "It was good... until I had to tell my dad how overprotective he is" I heard him snicker. "Totally not funny dude"

"Emma, we need to talk" he told me seriously... Crap did I do something wrong?

"Um... Okay, but first, is everything okay? You've been acting strange" I ask him in attempt to change the subject. 

"We can talk about that later, but what I need to tell you is important, and before you ask, you haven't done anything wrong" he assured me, as if he could read my mind.

"Okay, then what do you need to talk about" I asked, sitting at my desk. 

"Look Emma, I like you... A lot" I look at him, shocked. "I've liked you since the moment I saw you, but you were married, so I never said anything" he paused and looked at me, i gestured for him to continue. "I think you're an amazing, beautiful, extraordinary person, and I would very much like to have a relationship with you" I stayed silent. "Well, I'll give you a few hours to ponder that" I nod and he goes on patrol. I decide to first call my mom. 

"Mom, Graham just asked me out"
"Really? What'd you say??" She asked excitedly.
"Absolutely nothing"
"Okay..." She said, she sounded quite confused.
"But then he told me that he'd give me a few hours to think and then left"
"That's so romantic!!" She yelled ecstatically. 
"Mom, relax"
"I say go for it! I've seen you guys together, he obviously really likes you, probably as much as you like him"
I thought about denying it, but then I realized there was no use, it's almost impossible to win an argument with that woman. 
"You think?" I asked nervously
"I know it" She told me, I could hear the joy in her voice.

After I ended the call with my mom, I believed everything she said, I just wanted to talk to one of my other friends, Regina, so I called her.

"Regina! You're never going to believe what happened today!"
"You finally admitted your feelings about Graham?"
"He asked me out! He told me that he's had a thing for me since we met!" I said, probably a bit too excitedly.
"And you said yes... Right?!" I stayed silent. "Emma! What'd you say?!" She asked eagerly.
Nothing, but I was really shocked! When he gets back, I'm gonna tell him that I feel the same" I told her proudly. 

A few hours later Graham walked in and I stood up. "Yes" 

"Pardon?" 

"Yes Graham, I would love to have a relationship with you, I've always felt the same, but I was scared" I admitted sheepishly. 

He walked over and lifted my chin up. "Nothing to be embarrassed about" 

It's now or never... I leaned in and kissed him, when the kiss broke we both smiled, but suddenly Graham clenched at his chest like he was having trouble breathing. "Graham? What's wrong?!"

He fell to the ground. "Heart" was all he managed to muster out, before his eyes closed. 

"Graham! Open your eyes! Graham Please!!" I was sobbing at this point and I reached for my phone and dialed 9-1-1. 

"9-1-1, what's your emergency?"
"Sheriff. Collapsed." I said in between sobs. 
"Can you repeat that ma'am" She asked politely. 
I took a deep breath. "This is Deputy Swan, Sheriff Humbert collapsed"
"Miss Swan, I need you to check his pulse"
I reluctantly placed two fingers on his neck and I feel nothing. "Oh my God... He isn't breathing" I dropped the phone. 

"Graham please!! You can't do this! You can't tell me how you feel about and then just die!!" I screamed. "Wake. Up. Graham!" I yelled between sobs. "Please..." I said in a softer tone. "You can't die."
