I rushed to the bathroom throwing up for the 4th time this morning.
"Lani I know yo wannabe grown ass ain't what I think you are" My mom said coming into the bathroom as I finished up throwing up my breakfast.
I was a month pregnant but I haven't told anyone besides Leah. I haven't even told Randy due to the fact that I was scared how he was gonna act.
I mean he's 18 and I'm 17. We're young and both trying get into a good college on scholarships. I didn't even know how I felt about having this baby.
I looked at my mom not trying to answer her question but I guess my looks gave it away
"How far along?" She asked
"a month" I mumbled
"A month Milani? You're a month pregnant and didn't tell any one? Don't you know you need to take the right medication and be seen by a doctor?"
"Mom I don't even know if I'm keeping it. I mean I want to but I'm not ready. And I haven't even told Randall yet"
"Girl you better get that thought out of your head. You were grown enough to open your legs you're going to be grown enough to take care of that child" she snapped
I brushed my teeth not really wanting to respond
"You hear me?" She asked
"Yes Mom. I'm just scared I guess"
"Baby it's okay to be scared but whether you like it or not you having a baby.Now you better tell Randall and if he doesn't step up then I'm going to have to go over there and talk with his mom" she said walking out
I was praying that Randall took the news good because this would honestly affect my relationship with Leah. And she's my best friend so I can't really lose her
"Lani" I heard someone yell
I turned around seeing Leah walking in with Vontae
"My Pooh bear" I smiled taking him from her "I missed you" I kissed his cheek earning giggles from him
He was 4 Months And just the cutest thing ever.
Looking at him I imagined what it'll be like to have my own. Maybe it'll be better if I keep my baby.
"You know I'm standing right here" Leah pouted causing me to laugh
I hugged her before taking a seat on the bed
"Damn it feels like forever since I've seen you" she said
"I know but we gotta get back in the swing of things" I told her as I tickled Vontae
"So what's new with you?" She asked
"Uh well I'm pregnant" I told her waiting for her response
