Gwen rolled her eyes as she heard Duncan's heavy metal shake the wall she currently sat up against.

"Damn boy and his music..." She focused on the outline of the person she was drawing, making sure to get every detail exact.....

Until the wall shook so hard it shook her whole arm, creating a long mark on the paper.

Gwen scowled. Throwing away her notebook from her lap she opened the door and whipped around the corner to Duncan's room.

She slammed the door open hard, but Duncan's music was so loud he didn't even notice.

"Would you mind turning that shit down!" She yelled. Duncan was sitting at his desk with a bunch of paper and a pencil in one hand, joint in the other.

His no movement towards the volume button indicated he didn't hear her. Going up to him, she turned the stereo off herself.

Duncan looked at her with bloodshot eyes. "What the hell sunshine?"

Gwen narrowed her eyes. "Your music is not only horrible in taste but it keeps the apartment shaking like we're in a damn earthquake!"

Duncan rolled his eyes. "What you really mean is it's messing up your drawing of Trent..."

She huffed. Contrary to what one might believe looking in on them, she and Duncan were still close.

Gone are their teen years, but they remain the best of friends. Looking back, she almost doesn't even understand how she dated him when now he seems like an older brother.

"Like I said. Turn it down. Thank you." She said not even waiting for a response, leaving the door open behind her just to piss him off.

Duncan rolled his eyes, getting up. He had the music on to help him think creatively when drumming up a new design for his tattoo parlor .

After shutting the door he sat back down and pulled his laptop in his lap.

Aside from the rest of the spam emails there was one that caught his eye. It just came in about 5 minutes ago. But it was from the devil himself: Chris McClean.

Duncan dude! I tell you what, you are a hard man to find but me having the connections that I do, I was able to get all your contact information. As you know, Total Drama just hasn't been able to garner the ratings it had when the original cast (yourself included) were on there. Since I'm in the mood of giving, I've decided to give you all a chance to take a break from your boring lives and join me for a week getaway! You'll have a chance to make some cash from a couple minor competitions and of course, catch up with everyone. At the end of the week, we'll film the reunion episode and then you are free to return to your lives as nobodies. What do you say? Are you in or out?

Duncan scowled and moved to click the trash button without hesitation. Before his eyes rested on the crown with a heart that was tattooed on his wrist.

Did he really want to do this to himself; he had his act together (for the most part) and he was in a good place. Sleeping with random girls kept his libido in check but also took away the pain of emotional attachment he didn't want to feel again. Going to this reunion would probably ruin the walls he had built back up, especially if he saw her.

Gwen comes into his room again, this time softly. "Did you get the email from McClean?"

So side note! This story is slow jetting off because I'm introducing our main characters slowly. So the first couple chapters are gonna be loose intros to the characters and where they are at now. Next up, Courtney!
