"Okay, So McKenna are you ready!?" I say while knocking on her door. "I am now, come in!" She shouts. I open the door and see, as usual, McKenna's room in a mess. But she's ready!

She's dressed up as Hermione Granger,

"W-where did you get the outfit from McKenna, weren't you supposed to be wearing the pink chicken dinosaur thing Mum made for you?" I say

"W-where did you get the outfit from McKenna, weren't you supposed to be wearing the pink chicken dinosaur thing Mum made for you?" I say. "I am, but I snuck through your closet and found this!" She says. "Isn't that from my third-grade school play outfit...?" I say. "Yes it is, and yes it might be big for me, but I don't care... it's really comfy anyways..." She says. "More Like Way too big...!" I mumble.

I walk up to her and tie her hair into a ponytail, "Alright, now you got the look... I just feel bad you SNUCK INTO MY CLOSET, and you didn't wear the costume Mum worked on for months..." I say. "Meh, I don't even know what it is!" She says and walks off. I sigh, "this girl..." I say.

I follow her out of the room and head downstairs. "You should be glad mums not home, otherwise she would be really sad right now!" I say. "And you should be glad your not coming with me!" She says. "What do you mean?" I say. "Willow, you're not coming with me. Now that other kids are coming I don't want to be seen with somebody lame as you!" She says. "Since when did you become so sassy, and have a rebellious side!?" I say. "I'm Evil, I was always Evil." She says. "First of you were never, and I'm not lame!" I say. "Yes you are, you do your homework the same day you get it, nerd alert!" She says. "Whatever..." I say and roll my eyes. "So is that a yes?" She says. "No, no and no I'm coming with you no matter what!" I say. "Fine, as long as you don't seem like your with me!" She says.

"I swear grr...!" I say. I get a message on my phone...

Debbi: Hey Willow, I'm waiting for you outside!

Willow: Right yeah I'll be there just a sec.

"Alright McKenna, you better be ready because Debbie's here!" I say while opening the door. "Don't worry I'm ready!" She says.

We walk down the street with Debbie's little sister, Dylan. McKenna and Dylan seem to get along really well and I'm happy for her. "So, you didn't dress up?" I ask. "Nah, I don't really celebrate Halloween..." Debbie says. "Me neither, I stopped a few years ago..." I say looking down. "Why, did something happen...?" Debbie asks. "Well, I stopped going trick or treating when I was six. It was because my parents couldn't afford an amazing costume for me. So my mum would make these horrible looking Halloween costumes, and she would force me to wear them. They looked tacky and cheap, so whenever I would go trick or treating the other kids would always make fun of me and bully me around for my costume. I remember when I went home, I would always complain to my mum about how much I hated her costumes. And how me getting bullied was her fault, I hated her growing up..." I say.

"Wow...that must have been hard for you and your Mum..." She says. Suddenly, McKenna and Dylan stop walking. They turn around and face Debbie and I. "Uh, Yes...?" I say. "We're here!" Dylan's shouts. "Let's start now, with this one!" McKenna shouts. "Okay, we can go to This house if you want to..." Debbie says. "Let's just hope it's a treat and not a trick!" I say.
