Thump Thump Thump
My heart beats.
Is the only thing my ear seems to hear.
Nervous and tensed, that's my Situation now.
All I can think about is that I'm going to fail or going to do something stupid, maybe even forget how to talk. And I'm going to Humiliate myself-
"5minutes and you will be on stage." a huge man interrupted my thoughts.
I nod and I stood up to fix my dress and makeup.
"Saaaam" I turned around to the mention of my name.
"Oh god Em I'm glad that you could come" I stated as I hugged my best friend.
"I can't resist seeing you sing, can I?"she said with a wink. I let out a chuckle at her flirting face.
"Gosh, I'm genuinely terrified." I admitted to her.
"Well, I believe in you SAM, and I'm sure your mother is proud of you too." A smile took over my expression by her words and I shaked my previous thoughts.
"Thanks".
"You have to be on stage, now." said the same guy from earlier
I run to the stage hearing my best friend yell "BREAKE A LEG"
Sighing once I reach behind the drapes I started to whisper to myself "I can do it." over and over again.
I'm going to sing like there is no tomorrow.
