Soo might be getting a cat and if I don't I'll definitely be getting an axolotl in the next few weeks instead, but the thing is I already have a dog. My dog has had no interaction with pretty much any other pets at my house for 7 years. When we first got her we had mice and she didn't mind them because they were in a cage and besides they were there first so she couldn't do much about it anyway, so I know if we get axolotls she probably won't mind since they will be in a tank and won't do anything. But if we get a cat I think she might get really jealous if we pay attention to it more than her. Obviously I would pay them equal attention and in fact I'm a dog person so I would probably spend more time with the be dog anyway, but while the cat is small we'll have to loom after it a bit more and I think my dog will feel left out. My dog is used to a lot of attention, in fact we probably give it more attention than it wants sometimes and I think if we get a cat and it gets less attention it might get sad. What do I do?
(I might not even get a cat because my friend's dad's cat had babies and I asked for one and I'm waiting to find out if he already gave them away cos there was only two left)
