Cams prenancy part 3

"Cam? Cam? Why did Brennan look so upset when leaving here a minute ago?" Arastoo asked
"Uh, I um, we have to talk." Cam answered not entirely sure what to say.
"Oh no are you okay?" He was immediately worried about her and the baby.
"I'm fine, we're fine come to my office."
"Oh am I in trouble?" He asks jokingly. They walk into her office and she shuts the door.
"Booth had an affair."
"Oh damn, that sucks. When?"
"Ended 2 months ago. Lasted about 4 months"
"Oh that must have broke her. She's never really trusted people."
"Yeah I know."
"So why do we need to talk if it's about them. And who was the affair with?"
"Well here's where it involves us well me."
"Oh my, It was you." He steps back in disbelief just hoping he was wrong
"Yeah"
"Okay. Is it his? The baby?"
"No. No it's ours mine and yours."
"Who ended it?"
"He did."
"If he didn't would you have?"
"Yes. I was going to. But before I could he did. I'm glad he did he made it easier."
"Damn. I really didn't want you to say that. I'm glad you would have ended it but you said he made it easier which means it wasn't just sex."
"You're thinking too much into it. You're the one I want to be with!"
"I don't really know what to say right now. I'm kind of speechless. I've got to say thou this doesn't feel like a surprise. I think I subconsciously knew but I stayed anyway. Why did I stay?"
"I'm so sorry Arastoo"
"Just give me a few hours I'll just see you at home. Later." Arastoo walked out and Cam was left feeling guilty and sorry.
When cam got Arastoo was already there and he was sitting waiting for her. "Arastoo" she said once she shut the door
"I'm really angry at you but I love you so much."
"I love you too but I am so sorry I didn't mean for anything to happen I can't excuse what I have done I would like to earn your forgiveness and draw a line and move on."
"I would like that too. It's going to take me a while to forgive you but I will do it." He kisses her. "I'm going to bed." He gets up.
"I'll join you." She smiles and they go to bed. Nothing happened because Arastoo was too mad to even touch her but they needed to get through this so he knew that this was a step forward. A small baby step but it was a step.

A few weeks later
"Brennan can I come see you?" Aubrey says over the phone he has come and visited her over the last few weeks and every time he drove about 3 hours to see brennan and the kids. And stayed a few hours maybe spent the night in one of the guest rooms. She knew Aubrey was reporting back to Booth but that made her feel like Booth wanted to make it okay. And he was giving her information about Booth too. He wasn't doing too well but Brennan was calming down and thinking about going home.
"Yeah sure"
"I'll be there soon."
"Alone yeah?"
"Always am" he hangs up. A while later.
A knock at the door startled Brennan and stopped making her children sandwiches and walked to the door and looked through the peep hole it was Aubrey and she opened the door. "Hey James come on in." He walks in and she shuts the door
"Hey Brennan we need to talk."
"Hang on let me give the kids their lunch and we can talk about what ever you need to talk about she turns to the kitchen table finishes the food and goes to the front room places the sandwiches on the table "eat up kids" and she walked back into the kitchen "what's wrong?" She asks Aubrey.
"It's booth he's really not okay he's in a slump he's getting irritable. He misses you and he misses the kids I think you should just let him see them."
"I'm not sure, I'm not ready for him to come here and I don't think I'm ready to go there."
"I know but he's falling apart temperance. He's just doing nothing he's not jumping into a case he's not following leads he's telling me to do it. He's just in his office and this morning he told me there was no point booths an optimist and he's lost that."
"How about I call him tomorrow?"
"Well I only came to talk about this and was wondering if I could spend some time with the kids if you need to do anything like go shopping or something." At this time she knew that he had something planned because he wanted her out of the house but she trusted that he was doing what was right so she went along with it.
"I actually have to go to the doctors and go shopping. So if you could look after the kids and making sure no one that isn't supposed to be here is here yes?"
"Of course but if you could message me half an hour before your gonna be back that would be great." She smiles grabs her keys and kisses her kids "uncle James is going to look after you for a little while. Mummy loves you both and will see you soon." And with that she walks out seeing Booth in Aubrey's car down the street she decides to go talk to him. She gets in.
"Temperance."
"Hi Booth. How are you?"
"I'm not great but I deserve how I feel. How are you?"
"I'm not great either. I miss home and I miss you."
"I miss you too and you know you can come home when ever you want to."
"I'm preparing emotionally. To come home. I'm trying to get myself to forgive you but I'm just not good at knowing what I'm feeling."
"I know. But we're both miserable. Which means we both want to make this right and I know I don't deserve your forgiveness but I really want it. I miss waking up to you and I miss you falling asleep in my arms it's the little things that I miss most. Your voice. Your beautiful smile. Your brains everything. I miss making you breakfast and I just want you to come home"
"I want to come home. But I just think I'm too angry be there knowing that you and her have done things. When I've been taking care of our kids. I know its irrational to still be angry but I just don't know any other word to describe my emotions"
"It's not irrational I just think we should spend time together to make us right."
"Booth we were trying for a baby while you was sleeping with another woman."
"I know." He looks down at his feet. He's phone bleeps
Aubrey -brennan has gone to the shops if your coming in
"Is that important?" She asks realising that he stopped talking and read his text. "It is but we're talking. So it can wait."
"I think we're done talking." He looks up at her.
"Please come home Temperance we built a life together we can fix this."
"I want to fix this I do. I just need more time." She kisses him "I really do want to fix us. I just am angry right now." He kisses her again and he places his hand on her waist when she sits up more and moves her whole body closer. He pulls her in and she jumps over to sit on Booth. "Maybe Aubrey can take the kids out and we can go and talk or not talk in the bungalow." She says to Booth who is shocked she's willing to do this yet not come home or just talk. But he missed her touch not just her smile. He nods. They got out of the car and she held his hand. He didn't know what this meant but he was happy she wants to fix their relationship. Brennan opens the door and they both walk in. "Daddy" Christine and hand yelled as they run towards him. He picks them up and puts them on each hip "Hey kiddos. How are yous?"
"we glad to see you" Christine says
"Well I'm glad to see you too." He kisses them both on the head after a while the kids went back to sitting with Aubrey. "Hey Aubrey" Brennan says and he walks towards them. "Can you take the kids out for a little while. Say you're going for ice cream or something take them to the cinema I don't know just can you take them out for a little while." Aubrey knew that it would be better if they could talk and actually spend some time one on one with each other so he nodded "Yes of course." Ten minutes passed and the kids and Aubrey just left. Brennan walked closer to Booth. Kisses him and pulled away. "This doesn't mean I'm coming home."
"You should want to come home. If you want to do this you should want to come home too."
"I want to and I might but this doesn't mean I am." She kisses him but this time he pulls back. "You're coming home."
"That isn't your choice."
"Look I miss you you miss me. I can't breath without you I can't sleep. I can't think. I can't do anything. We are solving half as many cases as we do when you're there I'm struggling doing anything you're coming home or I'm coming here. This isn't a option we are fixing this and we will do it together." She doesn't reply but she kisses him. Seeing booth so passionate about getting back together made her want him even more. So she pulled him into her bed room and pushed him onto the bed. "I miss you so much booth." She said as she climbed on top of him "Hey I'm right here bones!" He leans up slightly and kisses her bringing his head back down and her head followed.

They fell asleep in the arms of their love. An hour later her phone ring it was Aubrey, "hey Brennan, im just turning into your road now see you in 2 minutes." And he hung up "shit booth get dressed" Brennan jumps up pulling her top over her and her trousers up going into the en suite and washing her face to make it look like she's been awake all along. She walks back and booth is in his jeans but shirtless. "Hurry up booth the kids are almost home"
"They've seen me shirtless before. What's the big deal?"
"I don't want them to think we're back together yet."
"I thought you was coming home?"
"No I told you this doesn't mean I'm coming home I'm not ready."
"And I told you I need you home with me."
"Booth let's not argue I can do this right now when the kids get here me and Aubrey can talk and you can spend some time with them then after about half hour or so you can go home. This is the way it has to be at least for a while longer"
"I'm not leaving here without you."
"You will leave. And you will go without me because you being here isn't helping anything. You slept with her you had sex with her. When we was trying for a baby." She was now screaming at him. "What if I was pregnant and that baby was yours!" She took a breath quietly said "you shouldn't have come here you coming here made everything worse. You should just go"
"Temperance you have to believe me I don't love her. Me and her mean nothing to me okay it's in the past."
"Yet the sex was worth jeopardising our marriage for. Look I shouldn't have let you in when Aubrey is going to be here in a minute then you can go."
"I haven't even seen our kids!"
"Maybe next time."
"I need to spend time with them. You and them are my everything. Please you have to let me see them."
"No I don't. If you want to see them ever again you'll leave."
"Fine I'll go. But this isn't over I'll be back."
