"Well, well, well...look who came."Stevie raised an eyebrow towards Mick, shaking him off. She set her bag down, greeting Christine with a hug. She sat down at her seat, reaching for her menu.
Noticing Mick's constant stare, she looked up at him exasperated. "What?"
"Nothing." He grinned coyly at her.
Stevie frowned, her face scrunching up. "Why are you starring at me?"
Mick continued to grin at her. "A little birdie told me you've been seeing a certain Mr. Tyler lately."
Stevie choked on her water, glaring over at him. "Where did you hear that?"
"It's all over the news love, have you not picked up a magazine recently?"
"You know I don't read those, what did it say?"
"Just that you two have been getting cozy, is it true?"
Stevie sighed, dropping her head in her hands. "Yes we've been hanging out lately."
"Are you two together?"
"I don't know Mick, can we please drop it."
Mick nodded in understanding, wandering back over to the soundboard.
Stevie pulled out her sketch book, feeling Lindsey's intense stare on her. She looked up at him from across the room, scowling. "What?"
Lindsey shook his head. "Nothing." Stevie dropped her head again, hearing him mutter under his breath.
"Adding another man to the list."
"Oh fuck you Lindsey!" Stevie snapped her head up, glaring at him.
"No thanks, I wouldn't want to catch something."
Stevie opened her mouth to fire back, Christine cutting her off. "Easy now, both of you just stop."
Stevie shook her head, gathering her things and standing.
"Love where are you going?"
"I won't be in the same room as him."
Lindsey snorted, Stevie shooting him another glare. She headed for the door, Christine stopping her.
"Stevie you don't need to leave."
She shook her head once more. "I'll record my parts separately, I will not sit here and be degraded by this asshole."
Lindsey rolled his eyes, Stevie ignoring the rest of the bands protests and leaving the studio. She got out in the hallway, feeling tears stinging her eyes.
Taking a deep breath, she walked to the main room, asking the receptionist if she could use the phone, dialing his number and waiting for him to pick up.
"Hello?"
"Steven?"
"Stevie, hey what's up?"
"Can you come pick me up?"
"Is something wrong?"
"Please." Stevie begged, her voice shaking.
"I'll be right there, where are you?"
