Chapter 2: Is Colby A Vampire?!

Colby's Pov:
Sam grabbed her and that's when she threw him across the yard. Her full attention was back on me. I couldn't move I was paralyzed by fear. She started coming closer to me I tried to move but I couldn't. She grabbed me by my neck again. I saw the guys running out of the house towards me but it was too late. I felt her fangs go deep into my skin. I screamed out in agony, I tried to get away from her but she was to strong. I sat there in defeat. I felt my blood exiting my body. Just then Elton had a very pointy stick and he was running towards her. As she noticed this she ran away super fast.
My neck was burning and my throat felt like it was on fire. I couldn't breathe. I held my hand against the bite mark. It hurt like a bitch. Sam, now conscious, came running over to me. Colby! Colby! Are you okay? What happened!!!?? What... what did she do to you!!!?? By now all of the guys we're surrounding me. My vision started to get blurry, and I feel like I was going to pass out. I could barely understand what they were telling me. The last thing I saw was Sam's and Elton's scared faces before I blacked out.
Corey's Pov:
Elton and I ran out after we saw what was happening. But we were to late. Colby was already bitten by her before Elton could get to her. I ran over to Sam, it took me a while but I got him conscious. Sam and I now realizing that Colby's a vampire we ran over to him. Sam asked him various questions with a very scared and worried tone in his voice. Colby couldn't respond. I knew Sam was hurting by seeing the pain Colby was in. We all watched Colby's eyes go into the back of his head. That's when we decided to take action. "Guys guys what do we do??!" "Should we call the police?!"
Elton's Pov:
"No Corey that's not a good idea whatsoever!" "Let's get him inside." Sam just say there in utter terror now realizing Colby won't ever be the same...not after this.
Sam's Pov:
I couldn't speak, I couldn't think. My mind was blank. I just couldn't process the fact that my best friend is now a vampire, and I couldn't save him. I told him I would always protect him. He probably hates me now knowing I failed him. Now I'll never get the chance to tell him... We decided to carry him inside. Elton picked him up and laid him in my arms. His body was getting very cold, and it didn't look like he was breathing. I know vampires always got cold and never breathed but I grew up knowing they weren't real and that it all was just a fantasy. Well now it's a reality, my reality.
We laid him on the couch in the living room. He looked so peaceful. Elton looked for the first aid kit, Corey was scrambling to look for blankets now realizing how cold Colby was getting. I stood there looking at my now very pale best friend. I was at a loss for words. Corey and Elton cane rushing back into the living room. Corey put the blankets on him, while Elton was using a cotton ball to put hydrogen peroxide on Colby's neck. It had no effect whatsoever. I didn't even realize that I was crying until Corey asked me if I was okay. "I'm fine" I told him. I knew he didn't believe me but he kinda just brushed it off knowing why I'm not In the mood to explain to him why I was crying. After Elton was done we all walked into the kitchen and sat down. That's when Corey started speaking "So what do we do now Elton?" "I don't know Corey, but one things for sure. He's going to be thirsty when he wakes up, and not for any glass of water but blood, human blood." "We need to help him but be very cautious cause he might go after any of us, especially Sam." I asked him "How are we going to help him control his thirst even though we aren't vampires?" "I don't know Sam, I don't know." That's when we noticed that the sun started to come up. "Hey don't vampires disintegrate when the sun comes up?" "I don't think so but yet again I never knew vampires were real none of us did." Corey said "Should we close all the blinds then just incase?" "Yea that's a good idea" Elton said
We closed all the blinds and windows in the house, including the curtains. We also locked the windows before hand. We don't want to risk anything right now. At least for Colby's sake. We carried Colby up to his room and laid him down on his bed. He was out cold. After we settled him in we locked his door and put a chair up to the door handle outside of his door just incase he wakes up before we do and decides to have a morning snack. We all decided to head to bed for the night. I could hear Corey talking to Deyvn on the phone since she is currently out of state visiting her family in Florida. I could hear Elton talking to Amanda and telling her goodnight. (In this story Katrina and Sam are just friends they're not a couple!!!) I decided just to go to sleep. I was listening for any movement from Colby's room but there was none. I hope we can help him, not try and kill us. This is going to be hard but I think we can get through it. Hopefully. As I closed my eyes I heard a noise coming from my closet. I decided to brush it off but then I saw someone standing over me on my bed. It was that girl... the one that changed Colby's life forever.......
